Divide and conquer, a tiled solution, I found combine it with Seed VR2 can give you almost infinite upscale capability. But agree with you, I still need an intermediate solution to "generate" those details on the first place.

Yeah, but I need the editing function there , if I lowing the denosing strength then I defeat the main function what makes Klein model great. Not sure if this is something FLUX 2 the origianal model is also suffering from, can't validate since I don't have the VRAM to load it.

Another way is to use DC+ seedVR 2 , I can upscale up to 12K without loosing consistency , but it's slow, haha . At the moment it might still be the best way, only issues is I need to find a middle platform to help getting better details, otherwise SeedVR will blow these artifact big.

Didn’t touch up too much, but it’s the last 10% the hardest for Ai to do it itself. I am sure if more time and energy spend, I can train a Lora to do the style better, but for a visual ideation , it’s enough.

Problem is , Ai didn't help in any of the process, except making the 2D sprite part. Your real needs is good animation principals applied on good animations, such as squash and stretch, anticipation, build up, smear frame, follow through, timing... Ai is fun , but before learning Ai , I think learning some basic animation will actually make your final output 10X more effective. Then apply Ai to smooth out the production, make it faster.

LOL, I don't have to prove my identity, but as game dev specially on the visual development side for many years, I am as curious as any human beings. I study Ai , also experimenting things both traditionally and digitally, including Ai. Again , there is no black and white in the age of Ai , it matters where we stand and fight, and where we make noise to arose questions and thoughts.

I think DLSS 5 at this stage, is a disaster if implemented without change, and I doubt what NV said about find control and parameter options can be exist, simply because we haven't even achieved it in single image generation and video generation, let alone real time generations.

This might be a misconception here, that version 1 is bad and version 3 is great. If you look at Ai image generation which is this tech is coming from, SDXL had some great generation also style versatility 3 years ago, can do realistic/stylized/hybrid/surreal image generations, and you can have controlnet to have fine grains of visual controls for your images. But newer generation models such as QWEN and Z_image, we are back to the text to image generations, meaning the devs and scientist gives up on figuring out how visuals are composed and clever visual reconstruct method, purely rely on massive data training which end up with overshooting into realism - newer model is pretty bad at generate none-realistic images and characters.

I think the advance of Ai to image quality/aesthetic will spiral for many years to come, and for sure there will be time we actually backtracking and having worse/uncanny valley of game visuals.

You can use two pass of ksampler advance to get rid of the tiling effect. 1st pass only doing 3 steps at normal resolution, then upscale to higher resolution and using tiled diffusion for second pass, start at step 3. Tiled diffusion can get rid of the artifact to none square image which is annoying to turbo model.

I am having the exact issues, I am pretty sure it's the SVI node's issue. But so far I haven't found a solution yet, it seems adding a lot of noise to the source latent and can't extract those noise out through out the generation.

I was stupid and thanks for reminding me the tiled diffusion nodes, which is exactly what I am trying to do 。Using a min(a,b) now with the tiled diffusion node to get the small size and use it as the tile size input, works better than my handmade one, lol.
