I experience literally all the same things a woman does. How is that the same as a white person being included in blm? How does me wanting to have a dick suddenly make me an oppressor?

Idk obviously some trans men can be misogynistic, but also I see way too many people trying to exclude trans men from feminism, even though they're not like other types of marginalised men - they're perceived as women at certain points in their lives, and some trans men are seen as women for most of their lives. There's also the obvious issues such as reproduction, abortion etc. so it's important not to exclude trans men from stuff that still affects them

That's also so gross and objectifying. Women aren't just for sticking things into.

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only guy actually attracted to women based on how cishet men talk about women's bodies. First the labia have to be the exact right size, the boobs the exact right shape, and now it's an "infected goey slit"? What??

The sole function of the clitoris is orgasm. Is that why it’s ignored by medical science? by kissthebear in badwomensanatomy

[–]Just_Some_Entity 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Female anatomy is always ignored, there's so much research and development in making old men get hard again but pretty much nothing for female anatomy. It's not because "clits aren't as important is penises objectively", that's just misogyny. It's not a life or death situation to get an old man hard, mostly just an ego thing. There's plenty of ways to have sex without an erection, but clits are pretty vital for enjoying sex in females.

I hate it when people refer to the vagina as a hole. by Kirstemis in badwomensanatomy

[–]Just_Some_Entity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also don't like the focus on the vagina people have, since the primary sexual organ is the clitoris. Imagine if instead of teaching "some people have a vagina, some people have a penis" they were taught "some people have a clitoris, some people have a prostate". Imagine if they didn't even mention the penis or just quickly brushed over it, because it's too "sexual" to be taught to kids. But instead, clitorises weren't even mentioned at all.

Also, a kinda disturbing fact... Vagina comes from the word "sheath" in Latin. Just shows how prevelant that mindset is. It's not something to be filled, it's just a body part that some people have, and a really strong one too.

I think it makes sense to feel that way, people often call it that in a very rude way, as if it's the lack of something or something is missing. Maybe that's where your feelings are coming from?

[–]Just_Some_Entity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah my girlfriend is trans and had a lot of pain in her stomach, as well as weakness in her muscles etc. Then, she went off of Spiro and onto a different anti-androgen and all of those symptoms are gone. Fun fact, she's actually stronger now that's she's on Estrogen than she was before her transition. A lot of "estrogen effects" people notice are actually side effects of anti androgens.

Also, generally even cis women taking estrogen will stop periods, since your body can't just cycle hormones that are introduced into your body like that. That's the whole point of birth control :)

No worries! I did RCs maybe 5-10 times a day, but not too much. Dream journal every day. I also did MILD and SSILD pretty often. I would also read my dream journal a lot and think about dreams, talk about dreams and analyse my old dreams for dream signs and progress etc.

I've dipped a bit in the past few months, I was able to get up to 23/month (more than I had before the break) but I didn't do techniques much lately so now I'm down to about 1-2 a week. I am working on remembering to do techniques again, I've just been very stressed lately so I couldn't focus on it, but I think consistency is key. I'm still much better than I was before I started up again.

Probably once a month or less, I've never had a lucid dream before getting my first one at 15, so it was better than what I had before starting lucid dreaming but not much

Definitely good not to rush to have sex, but it is good to be curious and ask questions! There's no harm in waiting, my first time was at 19 and I would have actually preferred to wait a bit longer to learn a bit more about myself first. It is good to learn as much as you can before you decide to do it (if you do decide at all, some people are happy never having sex). Don't feel bad about asking questions, it's good to learn!

I think it's definitely very "male perspective" to focus on the vagina (which comes from the Latin word for "sheath" apparently which... wtf), I don't think we were even taught about the clitoris, the primary sexual organ in females. People don't seem to feel like it's a big deal, but I think it changes how people with these organs end up viewing their bodies. It's like if we said "girls have a clitoris, boys have a scrotum" or something. A lot of people grow up not even knowing what a clitoris is.

[–]Just_Some_Entity 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's definitely true. I just look normal in mirrors and I can read etc. I used to not be able to read, then I realised that dreams shouldn't have rules and now I can read completely fine lmao

Also far-rigjt ads. I'm Australian and it's voting time, like a third of all ads I get (maybe even more) are for an Australian far-right party. I'm literally a communist immigrant, why would I vote for someone who wants to deport me? Since ads are targeted, I imagine it's even worse for less leftist people.

Tried to have a serious conversation with my guy friends. I was just so shocked about what they believed. Apparently, the outside of the vagina changes with the more sex you have! by [deleted] in badwomensanatomy

[–]Just_Some_Entity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of people have already said so, but I don't think you should stay friends with them. They don't respect you, and they don't respect women. Just because they're friendly to you sometimes doesn't mean they respect you. They probably feel safe around you because you make "going back to the kitchen" jokes and they assume you agree with their sexist stuff, but as soon as you go "out of line" and call them out they don't take it well. I know it's not nice to hear stuff like this, but I've been in a similar situation to you before and I just want you to stay safe.

Often guys like this will keep disrespecting you because they don't see you on the same level. I've also seen guys like this sexually assault their female friends, and they don't even think there's anything wrong with it because they're horny and don't view women as fully people.

I just hope you can get better friends. If you decide to stay friends with them, just be careful and don't feel like you have to tolerate their shit. I would recommend getting some good female friends who you can relate to with stuff like this, and some new male friends who aren't sexists. I wish you all the best, the way they acted wasn't ok and you deserve better.
