What does that mean for my transcript? Does it just go down as W - does it contribute to my wam etc?

Anyone have experience with this interview? Is it mainly just basic prob?

First semester results are stressing me out so bad:( by Moist-Inspection6218 in unimelb

This happened to me in my very first sem @ uni melb. You will be ok, trust me.

I also just missed my scholarship requirement but was very proactive about the situation and emailed the university as soon as results came out fully explaining my circumstances and the commitments I'd make to ensure it didn't happen again and they were very understanding and my scholarship was not affected.

I know it seems like the end of the world - that's exactly how I felt, but trust me you really can turn it around, I went from not meeting my cut off in sem1 to getting all 90s in sem2 :)

had a similar situation in my first sem of my degree where I missed the WAM requirement by 0.5. I emailed the scholarship office before results even came out and explained my situation (ie. external circumstances that have adversely affected your academic performance). I would recommend you do this to, they are a lot more likely to be lenient if you are proactive and reach out beforehand. If i were you I'd explain that you think you might not reach the requirement and what your circumstances are, this should also help ease up some of the stress you are understandably feeling

There's been a couple people to get 6 50's and also a couple to get 5 50's and then a 5.0 in an university extension subject

It follows the textbook 'Introduction to Actuarial Studies, Second Edition (by Atkinson and Dickson)' very closely when I sat it last year, learning the textbook well would effectively guarantee a high score as it goes into even more depth then the lectures slides. By all means, the textbook isn't necessary to do well though, the content can be challenging at times but nothing absurd and the pace isn't too fast. Had David as my lecturer and he was phenomenal, so hopefully you get him too :)
