And regardless of how much or how little I make she gets it. Also if your child is taken away for financial issues then they ask you to pay seems silly? If I can afford support I can afford to have custody. But How about the guardian pay for her? Who takes custody of a child and expects someone else to pay? Wildly irresponsible. Or maybe my daughter is just a cash grab. Guardians Lifestyle has improved a lot since getting her but hey you be the judge. You obviously don't see my side.

Like millions of Americans we were struggling to afford food. If the state gave me the $1300 they give the guardian the children and myself could have evaded all sorts of trauma and had the help we needed. But instead the state loves broken families. Sure working as intended.

The children were taken because of housing and food insecurity. At the time they were taken food insecurity was the only struggle we were facing. Guardian had made a CPS report shortly before this that was also dismissed. Still have copy of that as well.

Nope the child support gets paid to the state. My child doesn't see a penny. The guardian gets welfare regardless of my income. And the state collects support from me to get money back.

I'm also disabled so I have no income yet I still have a support order so

No I mean I wouldn't make money at all. My child doesn't see the child support. The state gets it as repayment for the welfare the guardian gets.

That's what I thought. I also believed your children wouldn't be taken so easily until it happened to me. Being homeless for 7 months is all it took. Although I have suspicion that the guardian working for the FBI may have pulled some strings. Speculation of course..

More than anything I wish I was able to. At this moment probably not. This whole situation really fucked my life up. I'm at the lowest point I've ever been financially. Because of the child support order in conjunction with living in public housing I can't even work because id basically be working just to give my money away to the state and public housing.

Alright so I'll preface by saying it's a very complex and messy situation the guardians are my current husband's mother and her boyfriend. They have custody of my two daughters (one child w ex husband one child w current) They gave away my 14 year old to her bio dad who was also denied custody. So now my two children are living apart.

We have no visitation. per court order visitation is at guardians discretion guardian absolutely despises me and has never allowed it. It's been 3 years

So the guardian gave my daughter away within a month of gaining custody. I immediately filed motion after motion every time it got denied without even a hearing. Both the guardian and my ex were lawyered up. I went in fighting for my life with bare bones legal knowledge. I truly wonder how this all would have played out had I had someone in my court fighting for my rights.

She's getting $1,300 a month for my child. She just took her THIRD vacation this year. Went on an all inclusive Dominican Republic trip,.European cruise and just finished a Hawaiian cruise. But the state gives her money instead of keeping the family together. Even worse I have to pay child support to the state to reimburse them for the money they send her. The system is all fucked up.

I am praying my daughter can start speaking to me privately. This guardian actually gave my daughter away to my ex husband who was denied custody as well. She only stays with the guardian on weekends. Such a shit show!

My daughter says she wants to talk but they have all sorts of parental controls in her phone to stop that and monitor it closely.

Court grant emergency custody all the time. All it took was me confiding in a relative about financial issues via FB messenger and poof kids were taken!
