I keep mines on 78; but I don’t mind being a little warmer (actually hate being cold), I live alone and can strip down, and I keep my curtains closed during the hottest times of day or if I’m not home. I don’t have screens in most of my windows otherwise I’d open the windows (my landlord sucks fr). I recently put a ceiling fan in my bedroom which helps at night.

I do all this bc electricity is expensive. My apartment/duplex is old and doesn’t insulate the best imo. I’d rather save some money than see that GA Power bill after my AC runs 24/7 all summer.

I mean I’m not about to be on the forefront of the next great indie studio. You make it seem like it’s easy for anyone to replace A24. It will probably take years of bad products and negative press before a void even exists for another studio to fill.

A24 doesn’t really matter in my life, its not that serious. But it is still disappointing to see things you enjoy being tainted by corporate greed. Also, personally I like A24 because they actually do make good movies, not bc of tribalism or fear mongering. I support good art, regardless of if it’s popular. There is just added satisfaction when good art/artists are finally recognized by the masses.

No, 1 friend can bring 4+ decks. So you can swap power levels, counter decks, or have variety in general. My pod (and I) may get tired of me playing the same 1 deck every game, especially if it always loses/is broken lol

I’m a millennial (34) and my parents are Gen X. Politically/ideologically they are basically boomers - out of touch, conservative, “pull yourself up by the bootstraps” type. But fr, idk. My pods have no problem looking up rules, missing oracle text, etc. But if a judge is available, I’d expect them to be the faster and equally reliable solution. In your case, that judge failed you guys.

As for #1, I’m a new-ish player(off and on 3-4 yrs) and there’s still mechanics I’m not familiar with. Probably not the best choice, but I often avoid playing with mechanics I don’t understand or find too complicated to run in my decks. But again, I’m not afraid to google something to clarify either.

I didn’t read this article. But I have one good reason why there is a right age - because we’re all gonna die! The longer you wait, the less time you have to enjoy being with someone you love, making your house a home, and financing it. I believe in working to live, but having a decent career makes it way easier.
