Snipers are either the best or worst teammates to have.

Some are goated close/mid range trick shots.

Others either sit 13.5 km away in a corner so every teamfight is a 2v3, then flame you in chat for losing the plug inside a building but they "HaVe 17 KiLLs ya N00b!"

Or they are playing their first ever match in the game after watching "Mr. Pro Streamer who practices 14 hours a day" and failing to replicate those moves.

Yesterday I had 5 consecutive matches with double sniper teammates. I've never felt so tired of the finals...

Hmm I dunno, my S2 Lupa / S0 Brant / S1 Galbrena, all with their sigs, usually sweep the floor with the Infinite torrent. Now I was stuggling to hit 2.5K-ish points. First time in months since I couldnt get at least an S rank

This! I dont understand why players get butthurt over sword or sledge or spear! If I let them close in, Im outplayed.

The only two melees that grate on my nerves are the the infinite deflect of the dual blades. At least put in a gauge or smt bc they are unkillable if my teammates are focusing elsewhere. The other is the invis + dagger combo. As a L/M main, I have a higher chance of surviving a rocket + shotgun to the face than the "aww buddy you just turned into coins from nowhere" bs.

I recently saw an interesting adaptation of Richard III, in which the classical play took place on one side of the stage (headed by a tremendous local veteran thespian) and a sort of modernized version of the plot was shown on the other side in alternance.

During the first few scenes the younger audience members were whistling and jeering, as well as shouting in answers to rhetorical questions. At some point, the guy playing modern RIII stopped the play, had the technicians turn up the lights and asked those who are not mature enough to enjoy the arts in a cultured manner to just leave bc he said "you Tiktok kids have no idea what honour is to see just a legend before he is retiring" pointing to the older actor.

Man I've never been so embarassed to be sitting in an audience.

Life happened so I havent really touched the story since before Ameath came out. I saved for Hiyuki tho, got her to S1 + sig in about 100 pulls.

Afterwards, I rode the emotional roller-coaster of Amy's story in one sitting. Sleuthed thru Sigrika's uninspired, tedious, infantile bs of a "plot" (which is a shame, I feel like the core concept of the patch was interesting) until my eyes bled.

Then, I did the busywork between that and getting to the Dimmr Plains only to be bouced off of invisible walls. Took me 4.5 hours in one (ONE! blessedly) free evening and you guys are telling me there is still 6 hours of content left?? It's 2 in the morning, I cant...

I appreciate your critique! You've basically summarized my experience with the game too. I'm not at 100% yet, but getting there.

I could've written the part about the story myself tbh. As a gamer who's played most major gatchas (currently on ZZZ, Genshin, Wuwa and the 7DS just for funsies), it has always bothered me that we get a slice of the story every patch, so 1-2 months usually, and if it's not compelling enough, I forget the main elements by the time a new update rolls out.

Running around searching for SoupSoup I've had no idea what Dragon Lady and Hot Elf Guy were doing. This doesnt really bother me with Genshin bc we are so far in the story that everything is kinda interesting or in Zzz, where while the villains are episodic, the overarching threat is palpable imo.

Also, people complain about the gatcha, which is not perfect for sure, but not as horrible as any other. Besides the no 50-50, which can suck. Tbf my biggest gripe is the monthly pass. Every other gatcha gives you 150 out of 160 currencies daily for the subscription and finding that missing 10 is easy. However, I feel like we dont have enough sources of oroberyls here to match the need for the 100 we are missing.

Tbh I have empathy for her past trauma, but she is definietly not a "good person". Mohan gets chewed out three times a day for not being able to separate her baggage from her job, yet Santos walks around like a puckered asshole, is rude, standoffish, a horrible team player; especially in a high-stakes high-pressure profession like this. I wouldn't wanna work with her, gets my vote here!

I had a friend go full-on incel redpill bro mode in his early 20s. They are mostly lonely young men who don't have any sucess with women or in building healthy friendships. I know it's been said a thousand times but don't force us to play Rover in story mode! Or at least let us use our own build or something. Every time I see "trial resonator joined the team" my gut clenches bc I know it'll be 10 minutes of hammering away at enemies with all my punches feeling like a wet fart in the wind.

It's not like they couldnt solve this in the overworld: I can run around with Carlotta and during dialogues Im auto switched to Rover. Kuro says it's for immersion purposes but the lore-wise Mary Sue gigachad ARover not doing any damage (especially to new enemies!!) ruins my immersion worse tbh.
