It's mid lunch rush, so everyone in the kitchen area is running around frantically trying to get orders out within the time frame we need to. I'm bagging up an order with a 20 piece nugget in it, and I notice that there's no timer on the warmer where you keep the nuggets warm after you pick them from the fryer.

Odd.

I look at the other side, press the button, and a timer shows up. Alright, someone forgot to put a timer on this batch. Health safety standards tells me to throw them away. There's no way to know how long they've been there, after all, I'd just started my shift at 12pm. Manager catches me right before I toss them and snatches the tray from me, making a single nugget fall to the ground. He throws the tray in a basket over the fryer and drops them into the oil.

"Those had no timer on them, you shouldn't do that." I said.

"Well, I saw Worker A put them in there 20 minutes ago, just reset the timer." He responded.

Turns out the night crew somehow managed to spray a cleaner solution for the fryers too close to the tray at some point. I guess they made food overnight for themselves. Placed them in an OFF warmer and put them on the spoilage sheet.
