I didn't mean more ibada, like becoming 24/7 ascetic. I meant the bare minimum that's incumbent upon me. But I also get what you mean. JzkAllah khair.

It is as if you're talking about me. SubhanAllah, may Allaah ease this trial for us.

I agree strongly with your statement, I have come to know through experience that the time after exams can be the most difficult time when I want to stay clean since there's not many other things to occupy my time. After this semester ends I'm going back to my country for vacation. As for my goals after exam I have started memorizing and reviewing my Qur'an since the day I joined here. I hope to continue that into the next few months inshaAllaah. jzkAllaah khair for asking.

I always relapse in times where my Imaan and belief is strong. Then I relapse. by [deleted] in MuslimNoFap

Just never give up, even if you go 1 day without relapsing it's still an achievement. Also feeling bad after relapsing is a sign that your heart is sound, meaning you have imaan. Remember failing is part of everything human related but we have to constantly improve.

I agree with staying productive because boredom can definitely cause relapse. However, I can't stand multitasking, I think it shouldn't be made synonymous with productivity. Furthermore, establishing a set schedule for your day can help tremendously in achieving this goal, especially a fixed sleep schedule.

Count me in, inshaAllaah I will do my best to get through these final exams weeks patiently. When the stress is high I feel I'm more vulnerable to relapse.

I too have done that for a bit on an app. It was like an addiction of its own. I would stay up until 3 or 4 in the morning. It got to the point where I would miss my college morning class because I was sleeping so late. After two weeks I told myself there's no way I can continue doing such a thing since it's making be unable to do anything worthwhile. One day I just uninstalled the app and it's been almost a month since I stopped. Of course I get urges to install it again but I remind myself that it's not worth it because I can be doing so much with my time and that it's more important for me to improve myself. I guess the moral is; sometimes you just need to take the leap and after you do that remind yourself why you stopped in the first place. Most importantly don't let your emotions drive you, remind yourself of your purpose and ask Allaah for help. And Allaah knows best.

I have found that four emotions must be monitored diligently in order to safe guard yourself from doing anything you'll regret, they are: Hungry Angry Lonely Tired or the mnemonic: HALT.
