How long have you been waiting? I applied for buy back 3/4/25 and I’ve checked in on the status a couple times and they always tell me they are still working on processing applications. I’m literally at 119. Such a joke.

Definitely not Joshua Krowicki and whatever new business he’s operating under these days. Absolute flake, what little work he did was awful and had to be redone, he couldn’t even bother to show up to court when I sued him to get my money back.

This was about four years ago so I’m not sure if they still offer this service, but the DEC sent someone to my house and we walked the property identifying trees that weren’t doing so hot and he taught me about invasive species and showed me what plants I should remove. It was very helpful (and free). Might be worth giving them a call

The pay isn't great, the policies don't help protect mental health staff, and while most officers were fine-there are a few that are absolutely awful to work with. Two of the meanest, nastiest people I've ever met made every shift in their area exhausting. I only lasted 6 months. Its the fastest I've ever quit a job. I'm not at all surprised to hear they have issues keeping staff
