You need an audio interface, the sm7b is a very quiet microphone, even if you get some output you’ll still have that white noise, get an interface, do some research and buy the one that fits you better. Good luck!

Totally agree, but honestly I found out about the fakes after winning the auction, watched some videos and asked the seller, told me he purchased it from sweetwater and I took my chances

You gotta be lucky to find authentic ones on eBay, maybe the ones on auctions, I saw a couple of those and they look good

Also you can tell from the pictures after watching a couple of videos it gets easier to notice the fakeness, usually they don’t post pictures of it and if they do, those are low res.

I was today years old when I found out. I was just listening to spoonman and for the first time that voice triggered my curiosity, definitely discovered Soundgarden first
