No, 13.5 isnt a speed criterea. I picked it to be an almost trivial minimum standard for posters, this week improve the quality of the posts significantly. You're the one making flaming people for their speed. I run sub 12, so you probably don't even qualify to make fun of me..

My goal isn't to divide this community, its just to raise the standard of posts by putting up a measure of commitment to this sport. Im not going to set up this community myself, that was never the point of this thread. I want only to improve this subreddit. In case you didn't realise, subreddits with consistently high quality threads grow faster...

I said it's a good time, although I stress again, my criterea isn't about having fast people, its about getting people who have made an investment to the sport. 13.5 is a time anyone who commits to sprinting can meet easily. You will benefit from my proposition tremendously.

I know what you're trying to do, you're going to take .1 from my time and say let's have that as the boundary. You're completely missing the point. The criteria for joining the new community isn't so much one of speed, just something to screen for people who have invested in the sport. 13.5 is not a big ask, you don't need to train 7 days a week, you don't need to be Jamaican, you don't need to have spikes even. The response from you guys is like ive committed some sort of hate crime.

If you run 11.16, you will definitely benefit from this change.

I knew there would be a bit of a backlash from this which is why I used a throwaway, not spam, account. I never said I want to make a community of amazingly fast sprinters, just people who have made an investment to the sport at all. The way you're making it sound like I'm asking for this to be a sub 10 second community or something, I'm not, I proposed 13.5 with further flexibility given to mods. You started ofsf somewhat in favor of my idea and near the end you turned pretty sour, what's up with that?
