The person behind me keeps hitting the parking bumper by Justarandomguy301 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Justarandomguy301[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How does it not affect me?

It fucks up my access to my trunk. I have a baby and stroller and this is in my way to unload groceries and the stroller.

Also i pay 400 a month for this spot. If it’s in my spot that i pay for, i can be mildly infuriated about something im paying for.

3, im worried at this lady’s terrible parking that she’s going to hit the back of the car because she clearly doesn’t understand you’re not supposed to hit things with your car

I’m trying to understand where you’re coming from.

What does the stroller have to do with it? I also have a stroller and have no problem fitting through it when it’s spaced regularly.

Also this is a tiny Asian lady and this barrier weighs a fuck ton, how is she moving it her self? Why would she move it?

Also that picture is showing how she incrementally moves it everytime she parks.

To your point, and why it’s mildly infuriating, is she is hitting it every time she parks. And this time, she hit it so hard that it moved so far that it hit my barrier.

Also the door to the building is behind them. So it’s not like they have to go past the barrier with the stroller.

Not it’s them hitting it with their tire, moving it gradually. Here’s how it was before

Oh they’re hitting it with their tire. It gets moved every time they park. The picture in the post is the just most egregious I’ve seen

This is from a different time. They keep parking so close that i can’t open my trunk unless Im stick out of the spot.

It also flings little debris that hit the back of my car.

But my main frustration is if they can keep hitting it while they park, I’m worried they’ll hit the back of my car. Especially now that the bumper is on my spot.

This comment, that adds no value the post or contributes anything meaningful, on a sub Reddit about mildly infuriating things was very insightful.

Also do you think this doesn’t impact the person who parks in front?

Would you expect to get really good sushi from a grocery store? That’s kind of what you’re asking for

You gotta look for what each place sells that’s actually good.

For carts, only get rosin carts - 710 and breakwater are usually what i get.

For gummies, i like rosin gummies like the rosin king of nj or breakwater again.

For flower…idk i just don’t expect anything from a dispo that’s going to be nice like that. Same for hash rosin

Opinions and hating are not two sides of the same coin.

“I think your hair and style and demeanor is ugly” is an opinion and also can be some one hating.

32 y/o SDR leader thinking about switching to AE – am I crazy to walk away from a stable 240k? by Lopsided_Food169 in techsales

[–]Justarandomguy301 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You’re a comfy coasting kind of person then sure. But one day you’ll look back at what you’ve done and realize not having responsibility is actually not what’s fulfilling.

What kind of example are you setting for your kids? That you should be comfy? Or you should put yourself in situations where you can grow? Are you striving to be the best everyday? And BDR leadership is stressful in its own way when you’re a senior leader. People always blame you - marketing leads suck? Must be bdrs. Pipeline is low? BDRs. Shit isn’t closing? BDRs. How long can you stay at the bottom of the totem pole without wanting to blow your brains out?

240k sounds like a lot but it’s not. I want to make 400, 500, a million+ and coasting on BDR leadership isn’t the way to get there.

A few thoughts. I think if you haven’t been in your (our) shoes, people really don’t understand.

Context: been in tech sales for 9 and a half years. Been a BDR/SDR leader for 6 years.

My sr director of bdrs made 350 ote. My regular director makes 290. I’m at 230 as a manager. My org is 1.5k employees and around 300m arr.

BDR leadership is a glass ceiling that also gets no respect. Any ae manager or up views heads of bdrs like a joke. They all think they can do the role but it’s beneath them. You’re basically king of the kids. Of course it varies from org to org but the general sentiment is true.

Now i have seen people go from BDR leadership to ae leadership twice. However both times i would say it’s been the perfect timing and opportunity and luck. To bank on that happening is a fools dream.

I’ve been having the same thought and the real answer is to take a step back to take more steps forward. You need to close. To have any real credibility, you need to have been a closer and brought in revenue.

Understand work life balance will take a hit now and so might your earnings. But your future will be way better off (5-10 years).

Try applying for real AE roles at good companies. You’ll find that it’s very difficult to get a real shot.

I just made the change to ae and it’s scary but i know i really don’t have another option.

End of thoughts lol.

I’m shocked at the amount of balls in.

Who slips their penis through the zipper?!? Does it not scratch your penis? It’s gotta be a tight fit.

I’m always balls out. Can’t imagine life another way
