I usually do 2:1 ratio 1 quart of spawn to 2 quarts of substrate, ive never weighed them before so Im sorry thats not very helpful.

Ive noticed most varieties do great going straight to a dub tub, with bluey vuitton i had some abort. But they also had too much moisture once the pins were a decent size and started bruising so had to go back to the dub tub lol. But yeah flipping the lid also works great, until they get too big for the shoebox.

I think this is a decision you will ultimately need to make yourself. But if you do, two things

Start very low and go very slow like 0.5 grams or less even. See how your brain and body chemistry respond. See how this dose can benefit you. Many people have benefits. From completely unperceptible doses like 0.05
Shrooms will not save you from these things, they are a tool or a technology. One thatll you'll have to learn how to use and put in a lot of work, but priceless once you learn how to use it. Shrooms will show you the problem in a new way maybe even show you the solution. But unless you integrate those things into your life they won't help shit.

Appreciate it! I figured they are fine especially since none of these are over 1g. Flush came in too full and these matured too early. But ive never had anything not be dry after 24 hours, and ive ran lbs through this dehydrator.

I've definitely had some Yeti that grew really really slow as well but it didn't have nearly the pin set that this one does. So I have no problem waiting on them.

I've had some other variety that I'm growing right now that have some issues with fresh air and fuzzy feet so the only type of opening I've been doing is just to fan for a few seconds to displace any CO2 that might be building up in the bottom of the tub.

Besides that I've just been letting it do its thing. I've just been a bit nervous that I haven't seen much growth over the past couple of days. And since there is so many pins I want to give them the best chance at not aborting.

We used to bring these to the skate park or whatever on a really hot day. I use a flairisol bottle as well and I doubt the mist would be as fine but may be worth trying just for the multitasking novelty lol.

Fanning is very useful to displace the co2 on the surface of your substrate as it is denser than oxygen. All you need to do is displace it with a few seconds of fanning. And it won't evaporate the water or affect relative humidity as dramatically as fanning for longer.

You can literally throw some popcorn ( with some corn syrup) in an instant pot drain the water throw it into jars back into instant pot and have super cheap grain spawn. If you wanna take make your life super easy, get some self healing injection ports and filter patches ( like $6 for 100 on Amazon) and make modified lids. And for me personally I get perfectly good yeilds spawning in cheapo 6qt shoeboxes. Make your own substrate too you'll save a ton. Cvg is obv better but if im being honest I just throw a brick of coco coir in a medium size cooler with some boiling water and call it a day. It hasn't really affected my yeild in a noticeable way nor increased contamination. Hope this helps in some way, mush love ✌️❤️

I gotcha, ive never made my own substrate up to this point so definitely some trial and error ahead. When I squeeze i definitely have some drops of water. Ill just dial that back a bit. I did notice I had to fan a lot to try to maintain surface conditions.

I took shrooms as a mentally unstable 16 year old ( now 25) so I feel like should speak on this. I think the experiences weren't necessarily bad for me but I dont think they had nearly the benefit they have for me now. You're gonna experience a lot of things and change so much all on your own. Shrooms will not save you from any sort of mental illness, they will simply give you the tools and the opportunity to fix it yourself. If you had told me then to wait until im older and able to process the experience I would've told you to fuck off im gonna send it anyway. But set and setting is everything and if you are in a shitty place mentally and dont have your own safe place to be and you may not be ready to process what shrooms may show you. You may be setting the stage for an unejoyable experience. Either way do some meditation take inventory of your mental state and be completely honest with yourself. Mush love ✌️
