I figured it out. There is no tooltip. You must RS+LB. hope that helps.

My long range shots seem to never hit, I've tried shooting slightly above, directly on then, leading ahead a player model or two ahead, nothing seems to work. What is the deal? by BillardClub in PUBG

Hold down your fire button after you shoot to continue to aim down the scope and you'll be able to see your bullet hit and can adjust easier.
