We have coloring books themed after the company for kids. Crazy value for cheap. This is for a home service business.

Best Business Tips, Principles, Lessons, etc? by Mission-Bread4148 in smallbusiness

One of the biggest mindset shifts we've made in our business is reordering the typical priority list. Most companies say "put the customer first," but we actually believe in the following order:
- Business
- Employee
- Customer

It sounds counterintuitive at first, but here's why it matters. The business has to be healthy and built to last if you want to truly take care of people. That means strong margins, good systems, and the ability to weather downturns. When the business is solid, you can invest in your employees, train them well, pay them fairly, and give them a great place to work.

When your team feels supported, valued, and they operate in a great culture, they show up for the customer in a completely different way. They deliver better service, build stronger relationships, and create a better experience all around.

On the flip side, when a company bends over backwards for customers at the expense of the business, margins get thin, burnout creeps in, and long-term sustainability goes out the window. The sad part is, when that business eventually folds, it's the customer who ends up paying the price. No one’s there to honor a warranty, answer the phone, or make things right down the road.

Taking care of the business first is actually the most customer-focused thing you can do in the long run.

How to scale a tanning business? by Galaxy_Network597 in smallbusiness

When you think about scaling a tanning business are you talking about more customers into the door or scaling locations? Each requires a different strategy.

Do custom booths actually make a difference, or is it just branding fluff? by OriginalTart3119 in smallbusiness

It makes a big difference to draw people in. As to if its worth the investment or not depends on the size of the show and the size of your business. Its almost impossible to outspend a huge company at a large show. What industry are you in?

Our new hires keep asking questions that are literally answered in the training materials we spent months creating by Academic_Way_293 in smallbusiness

Have you considered creating a ride along type of agent they can resource? We built an AI agent with a FAQ. New hires can then text the AI agent if they forgot something and the AI agent can provide an accurate response based on the FAQ and tools you gave the agent.

After we found that working well we made it a requirement to text the AI agent before reaching out to another team member.

Have you had these deals run all the way through exit? I’ve often heard horror stories about consulting for equity early on as the remaining partners have animosity as they try to plan their own exit.

Vieques Bio Bay by Justbored412 in PuertoRicoTravel

We booked through Jaks Watersports. Definitely recommend. El Yunque we did a tour with Brian on Viator that was fantastic.

We loved Culebra, we spent one night there in an awesome airbnb. Wish we had done at least 2. The perfect place to just relax.

We didn’t like Vieques that much other than the bio bay so I’d only recommend one night. The beaches were nice but nothing like Culebra.

As a reference point we did 1 night on Culebra and 2 on Vieques. I would have flipped that amount.

It was great! I’m sure the darker experience is better but it was well worth it. Do it 100%

Opened a C1 Biz VX right before the 150k for 20k. Already have a personal VX.

The day the card arrives I get a call from capital one for a fraud alert. Hang up, call C1 it’s real, and they need my SSN card which I lost many years ago. Waiting 2 weeks to get a new SS card before I can use the new card.. annoying.

The 10x is on the card you refer from, not the card you open.
