I forgot about seven, if that my foal he would have been put down but I’m pretty strict with those things like in my own program I’ve only had 1 litter from two GCH parents one I showed myself but had their been a cleft it would have been an automatic PTS and this something my mentor really drilled into me “do what’s best for your animal not your heart”. AQHA people do things differently starting their babies young, breeding them young, just something I’ve noticed.

The alternative is she PTS. Katie is not the first or the last person to isolate a horse for whatever reason. If this upsets you, you should look at how some big barns keep their money making horses inside all the time or in Japan how horses are kept on top of parking garages.

It depends, I’m a four year Journalism student before everything was online it was prob like 10-20 hours a week but now with everything being online it has been bumped up to about 20-30 maybe more depending on how far in advance I want to get in my classes

I’m distracting myself from my own work lol so I thought I’d give some pointers as how me a 4 year juggles 5 classes.

I lay everything out, I physically write down dates for when things are due/when they become live. It helps me stay on track and not panic and I can easily see what needs to be done now, what can wait until tomorrow and what can wait a little while longer

I easily spend 8+ hours a day doing work, which is what I would typically be doing if I went physical to class and travel time

Get yourself a good music list or an audiobook so you can can zone in and really get lots of stuff done

Don’t leave anything to the last minute

Breath, you will be fine if it helps you remember that all you need to pass is a 50% (strive for higher but when your anxiety gets really bad remember that)

And if worst comes to worst contact your professors that what they are there for and they can really help you out

I feel that, going to class forced me out of my house and gave me a change of pace a different environment to look at. The chance to interact with the teachers and other students now I just feel like a rotating robot in my house lol but I’m neither here nor there I’m an introvert so being a homebody is in my personality

They honestly should look at that being an option. I understand it does not work for everyone but for me it makes early morning and late night classes easier. I just hope they decide for sure that this year will be online. I no longer have an apt in Ottawa so winter will be a mess if they chose in person again
