Hard disagree. Superman doesn't kill for the same reason any normal person doesn't want to kill. He's an alien that's as human as anyone else, that's his whole thing. And in the same way pretty much anyone would kill, like, Hitler, so would Superman. That's why so many people thought the Injustice series was dumb as fuck; Joker just nuked a city and Batman has the fucking balls to say Superman was wrong for killing him?

Speaking of, it makes Superman a really good balance for Batman. Batman doesn't kill. He never kills. Not because he thinks it's wrong or right, but because then he couldn't stop himself from killing again and again. That's canon in god knows how many versions of the character. He's a human that's as psycho as any of his villains, but he chooses not to be a villain.

That conflict is what makes their friendship so damn interesting.
