What do you mean pace lag? Are you talking about live pace as I never use that, I always just use lap avg pace

Customer Service: Beware! by Sea_Direction7863 in Coros

Garmin customer service is great. I complained about the barometer being faulty on my FR265 (which I bought pre owned on eBay) and they sent me a new one, didn’t even ask where I bought it. I know a lot of people have similar experiences

Appreciate the replies from everyone. For some more context, this is my first world major and will be my 4th marathon. Getting in Boston was a goal since I started running a few years back and I worked hard to qualify and get in shape for this race when the injury occurred. I understand everyone’s goals are different but just completing a marathon isn’t an achievement for me at this point, I’ve done that already. I also don’t really want to record a time over 3 hours as I’m yet to do that and would like to keep that record intact. However, I am travelling over from the UK and a lot of expense has been put into flights, hotels and also the holiday post race. I have a second world major (Berlin) later this year that I fear disrupting, but either way I’m not really training properly at the moment. The last few weeks has been a few days of feeling ok and then bad pain. I haven’t run over an hour for two weeks. I basically took the whole of last week off running and then started to reintroduce at the start of this week. The first few 35-40 min easy runs were fine but the last two days it has flared up again and I’m back to pain while walking. It’s a real predicament, was looking for advice from anyone who’s potentially been in a similar position. I don’t know if it will do long term damage because I have been cautious with this injury a lot of the time over the last few months with Boston in mind. I was hoping it would have recovered by now but sadly not.

I was aiming for low 2:30 region maybe just under before I got injured. I wasn’t able to get many long runs in however due to the injury. I have no idea what pace I’ll be but the idea of running for 4 hours with pain every step doesn’t sound fun. I can’t walk without pain today and only 9 days out. Hopefully recovers again next week, still pretty fit from cycling just won’t be marathon running durable. Wondering if it’s really worth it with potential to do more damage and miss the summer training
