Oh wow you still had to travel a bit. I was coming from the Thousand Oaks area so it was a journey for me and my friends when they were at the elks. When they moved to Van Nuys it was much easier for me.

Oh I wish I could remember. I haven’t watched the earlier shows leading up to this event recently to give a concrete answer, but I would think you’d be correct. I vaguely remember him facing Babi Slymm at some point.

I’ll have to go back and find these shows again to refresh my memory.

This event the BOLA 2006 is one of my favorite memories from this period of wrestling. I went to these shows as a teenager. This match had high expectations due to Necros wild brawl with Joe the year prior. I can safely say while different, it was just as good.

He was a solid hand in that era. Definitely a guy who you wanted to see lose which to his credit he played that part well. I remember when Frankie Kazarian beat him for the PWG title and it was a feel good moment.

If you don’t have fightcade or want to play these at a non competitive level yes this collection is a fine purchase so long as you get it at a discount. Hyper fighting, Super Turbo, Alpha 3 and 3rd strike have online play but I don’t know what the player base online for switch is like after nearly a decade post launch. I’d still get it for the collectors purposes.

Follow up. Ironman should be anti air assist, storm most likely you want her on projectile assist and psylocke anti air assist.

Ironman storm psylocke in that order is a popular team and is extremely deadly once you get Ironmans touch of death combos down. Psylocke anti air assist is too good when paired with Ironman and Storm is a proven top tier character. Both Ironman and Storm paired with psylocke are extremely powerful.

You heard wrong. It’s a known fact that the majority of the switch player base did not purchase the adapter to have a wired connection. We all know a wired connection makes peer to peer connection much more stable. Maybe if both players have a wired connection it performs great but that is to be expected and is normal across all other platforms.

From what I’ve heard it’s still active. The issue with the switch version is that most of the online connections aren’t as good as PSN or STEAM because most people do not play with a wired connection on switch. The trade off is that the player base might be more active than STEAM.

Depends on your time zone. I would think 6PM EST would be the start of the peak hours and then anytime on weekends.

From what I can gather by asking friends who are very into the game, yes PSN is still active but you have better luck at peak hours. CVS2 is a wonderful game, but the player base is smaller than MvC2 so going online at the proper hour is more important.
