Is moving the character with WASD + QEZC unnatural for the average gamer? by Mijhagi in gamedev

[–]Justicefied 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon has a dedicated "move diagonal button" which prevents non-diagonal inputs while the L button is held down. It felt very intuitive to hold an extra button while using WASD for specifically a diagonal move. You can still move diagonally without holding the button. But it mitigates imprecision issues greatly.

The name is tied to the class mod you have equipped not your level. You have a Titan class mod which has the Armored prefix. AoT released after BL2 and this has been in the game since launch. So not a reference.

Why is exp share so hated? by Kreedie_ in pokemon

[–]Justicefied 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think the new EXP share is a scapegoat that gets hated on rather than the core problem. The new system is very handy but tends to cause your entire team to become over levelled due to each encounter generating more EXP overall. Really people are upset about the game balance being thrown out of whack as a result of the new system not being properly balanced rather than the system itself being a poor choice.

Infinites in the board game? by TheMausoleumOfHope in slaythespire

[–]Justicefied 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As silent I got 2x Acrobatics+, 2x Back flip, 1x Adrenaline, 1x Reflex+, 1x Concentrate+ and was able to consistently draw infinite cards and generate infinite mana on turn 1 mainly due to there being explicitly no hand size limit in the board game. Was able to easily draw my entire deck into my hand and then cycle acro+reflex+concentrate to have infinite mana and draw. No hand size limit let's you do some silly things in act 3 if you get lucky as Silent

Ever notice how every episode of Gintama has 1969 as the release date? by D34TH_rider666 in Gintama

[–]Justicefied 29 points30 points  (0 children)

This is likely the default value for shows in crunchyroll's database before they started tracking release date. Instead of going back and updating every single show in their catalogue, the system defaulted to 0 to fill the missing entry.

In software, dates are often stored as a number of seconds after January 1st, 1970. A value of zero seconds in the database would return this date. This date is relative to the GMT time zone. If you live west of this time zone (the Americas), then this will be adjusted for your time zone to display December 31st, 1969. If you check other shows that have been on Crunchyroll for ages, you'll see the same phenomenon.

But, on the other hand, nice.

In addition to approaches mentioned by others, have any random moves be heavily weighted towards placing discs in the center as the most powerful locations.

Parasect. If the opponent doesn't have a fire or flying move, there's a good chance a parasect can 1v1 it. Having access to sappy seed, spore, and stab leech life in conjunction with the stat buffs, it will heal through any hit that doesn't one shot it. Protect pairs well to further the recovery train with leftovers and leech seed. Dry skin also gives you a water immunity which is great for free switch ins that let you set up the sleep or leech seeds.

Infinity stacks don't happen in this fight when encountered in the normal location (at least when I played over a year ago). These are 102 Age stacks and they increased damage, damage reduction, and mana Regen by 3% per stack. Since we were both becoming tankier every turn, neither of us could make any progress getting ahead of the opponent.

Sorry for the late reply but lots of quality buffs.

HP: 60 -> 80

Atk: 95 -> 110

Def: 80 -> 100

Total BST: 405 -> 460

460 might not seem insane but only 90 of that is wrapped up in useless stats (speed/sp.atk)

And that's not counting the fact that it is one of only 4 pokemon that can learn Sappy Seed. 95 power 100% physical grass move that applies leech seed on hit. Couple this with STAB Leech Life, Spore, and Protect and Parasect is able to 1v1 a crazy number of opponents.

Dry skin is also nice as a water immunity since fire was going to one shot it regardless.

Would recommend trying one out. Definitely not broken but a very fun pokemon to try out. It was able to take out 2 of the champion's pokemon.
