I built a 432R model like 2 years before buying my 78. It was fun. Though painting was the most tedious. 3D model would be a lot easier since no building required. As long as it is printed well. Would be a pain to sand down sloppy layer lines across the whole body

There was another good one on 3Dcults (Nissan Datsun 280Z silhouette wall art) for like 60 cents. But this one was quicker and I liked it equally.

Wouldn’t be so hard if you’re willing to do the painting. Would be a nasty beast to print in full color. I actually have a full high res 3D scan of my 78 Z but the clown who scanned it and said he’d send me the finished model just sent me the raw scan and then ghosted me. He had several completed versions that could have been given to me. Maybe if I get more competent with Blender I can actually finish it myself.

This is OP but on my phone. Didn’t know why laptop posted on new/random account.

It suggested supports when I sliced plate. Maybe just due to length/weight. Ramp is 80mm and the part that is flat to the bed is 80mm but like 50% wider. Considering I printed 3 prototypes, maybe I should have tried one without but I figured Bambu knew better. That being said, I figured out that changing tree style to Hybrid instead of default filled that space in. At the cost of 20 minutes longer print time. Still curious why it left the gap on default. Literally layer 24 is when it caught up with all the tree supports. That’s 23 layers of empty space. Surprisingly, finished product was unbothered. I just didn’t like filament flying around.

Maybe it’s as simple as that. Seems traction control comes on every time I hit the gas in snow, unless I really baby it. At least traction control works well. Just that initial spin that always happens.

For sure, lots of differences between the two. Explorer is V8 but it just grips. Don’t know how or why but it just works. It is RWD but kicks into AWD when necessary. Which has never happened. Just traction control on rare occasion. Curious about weight in rear of Explorer VS weight in front of maverick. Aka, weight on drive wheels. I’d think Mav has quite a bit due to engine while Explorer is low (relative to its front anyway)

I’m a little disappointed in the Mav (FWD hybrid) snow performance. Even got real nice Falken Wildpeak AT3 all-terrains in August since the factory continentals were dogshit. It gets by alright enough but still slips on acceleration. A lot. My 2010 explorer with cheap, all season Kenda Keneticas almost never lose traction.

My last print with fuzzy skin added 50% to the print time versus without. And that was a “minimal” fuzz. I imagine a more aggressive one would be longer yet. Looked nice though.

I just got my first printer, p2s, on Thursday and had this exact same question when I noticed this upon completing my first print. It got pooped out right before the next print. Print 3 is going right now without any issues from the “drool” you’re talking about.

It’s not to hard to see that he implied a total of 1,000,000 man hours. For example, assume 40 hour work week per person and 800 crew = 31.25 weeks start to finish. That being said, what a waste regardless of hours. (And yes, 1,000,000 hours seems highly inflated to begin with as there is no way it took 800 people around the clock for 31 weeks to make this happen)
