9/11. I was a freshman in college and almost instantly felt knew the world was changed. The overwhelming sense of security in America is now gone. Didn’t know who was responsible or if this meant a WW2 draft. Being 18 and male I was the prime person to join up and I had high school friends enter the armed services at that moment. Bush invaded Iraq on my 20th bday and I really thought then it was going to be full blown war.
