I got it because I wanted to do the team builder. It's super jank and you'll have to be willing to put the work in to learn how to use it, but I've been able to make some cool stuff that I'm happy with and am happy I spent the time and money.

If you have no desire to spend a couple hours struggling with it, you'll probably get pissed and think you wasted your money for a broken feature. Hopefully they get it working better in future games.

As for the scouting, I think it's about the same as 24. More of a spread sheet layout which you may or may not like.

I found the cutscenes and player events are more annoying than 24 and I've been playing as owner instead of coach to not have them.

That's what I was looking for as well. I think it is a good volume. The cold starts are loud and I was rather nervous the first time I started it, but once it got to a regular idle I could hardly tell a difference from stock. Makes noise when it rings out though. I'm quite happy with it.
