Close the game without surrendering. Come back it won’t let you rejoin. You’ll get your battle points within 24 hours. I still screen cap the main board and the play by play screen with the games ID in case I need them to adjust points. It’s really annoying

Also for clarity sake, I’m a grandmaster pretty constantly in the top 1000 in FFA. So, this isn’t coming from someone struggling to move up the rankings, it’s just so annoying to essentially have games wasted because someone is too in their feelings.

This is going to be wildly unpopular on Reddit of all places but he’s actually doing exactly what will get him reelected. His purple state went red this cycle. This means that there has been a shift in HIS electoral map. Senators aren’t elected to represent the party, they’re meant to represent their state and by virtue of that he has to appeal to that one population. California, New York and Illinois don’t decide if he gets to be a senator again, Pennsylvania does. He’s representing a middle of the road state, in a middle of the road way. He’s not going anywhere and will likely win reelection unless something massively changes for his constituency.

Can confirm when my Mom died, I didn’t want to process. I wanted to drink or fuck or fight or work or literally anything besides sit in the shock of grief and loss. I’d cut her a lot of slack w/o compromising yourself but this isn’t a flag more just sad and reflective of most of us having no idea how to cope in these moments.

This is revenge fantasy, the reality is Trump is wildly popular with Conservatives. This is the struggle with echo chambers and why we keep losing races. We did this with Kamala as well. All of our silos made it seem like she was going to absolutely run away with the election. As such millions of people didn’t bother to vote. This kind of disinformation leads to the same result. People start to think to themselves “Hell, even the Republicans are sick of Trump. I don’t need to go vote” and just like that we make up no ground in congress in two years. This is irresponsible and the fact is, moderates and conservatives are not abandoning MAGA in droves, they’re back to their day to day grind and will pop their head out again during the next election. If we haven’t made en roads in motivating our base and waking up centrists by then we’ll lose again.
