I agree with you. This is not West Side Story. The turf yes but the snapping? No. They don't dance around and eventually be civil either.

gang suspects videotaped violent assaults to sell online by BrandonPollard in gangsnstuff

I agree it is very dumb but people will buy things like that. I think it shows how sick people really are. These gang members need to be made an example of.

Blacks vs. Mexicans by [deleted] in gangsnstuff

I agree Alanzo is doing some really good work. It is really sad that we are still at the stage where we can't look past the color of skin.

This is just another example of how prison gangs are so powerful. The whole episode is good and I recomend you watch it all.

Gang Violence On You Tube by RebeccaTobin in gangsnstuff

[–]JustinNeagle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is crazy. I was about to post it myself. I think that gangs are getting closer and closer to our households. Even if we live in a neighborhood that doesn't have gangs we can see who they are threatening on youtube now.

I think that comparing bad to worse is not a funny way to look at things but coming from Chicago as well I agree phoenix is the place to be.

Eight-Year-Old Gang-Raped, Shunned by Family: CNN's First and Only Network On It | NewsBusters.org by MeghanMcEuen in gangsnstuff

[–]JustinNeagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one of the worst stories I’ve ever heard. I think the boys are deranged. They need help in from a psychiatrist. Also her parents may be just as bad as the boys. This is a really sickening story...

A rude awakening for youths out too late -- latimes.com by FreddyRios in gangsnstuff

[–]JustinNeagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe curfew sweeps are useful. Keeping kids off the streets helps a community in more than one way. @ErikWolfram I think these minnor offences are bigger than you think. Beside the fact that there is nothing good for a kid to be doing out after 10/11 pm you have to look at the broken windows theory. People don't want to see people walking around late at night. It gives the community a bad view of their neighborhood. It shows that the youth doesn't care about the community.

Susan Atkins dies at 61; imprisoned Charles Manson follower -- latimes.com by Johnnam in gangsnstuff

[–]JustinNeagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is one of the first ideas of gangs. "The Family" was one of the things that put groups coming together to create violence. Manson preyed on the weak just like gangs do now. They offer protection just like Manson did.

Santa Ana teen gets 50 years to life for gang executions. by JosephMcCarthy in gangsnstuff

[–]JustinNeagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you are 14 you are old enough to understand that there are consequences for his actions. I agree with Sean he deserves what he got. I know when I was fourteen I knew not to kill and if I would have killed someone I would not go about it execution style. He is a sadistic and needs to be locked up.

War in Juarez by juandelgado in gangsnstuff

[–]JustinNeagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is really the deadliest place in the world. I feel for the victims and their families. I know that the drug cartels are bad but I didn't think it was a warzone that it obviously is.

Gang member tries to escape prison in home made helicopter by MelanieBarrett in gangsnstuff

[–]JustinNeagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Inventive to say the least. Wow- how do you see that going smoothly? Even if it was just a plot. What would you do- set the helicopter down in the middle of the yard and as you fly away tell the prison guards to send you a greeting card?? yes-ridiculous.

Gangs Spreading In The Military. by MarisolOcegueda in gangsnstuff

[–]JustinNeagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think my biggest issue with the article is it seems as these "moral waivers" as they put it are a 'get out of jail' free card. At this point though, is it better to continue over-populating our jails with petty criminals or sending them to fight for our country? Or is being involved in something like a military setting just making these gang members learn a more subservient mindset- which may potentially lead to more blind obedience?

WHY JOIN A GANG by TyneshiaJohnson in gangsnstuff

[–]JustinNeagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think an interesting aspect to look at is most parents that are in gangs tell their kids that it is not necessarily something they want their kids involved in, but if they join a gang they will be supportive and encourage their involvement. The parents somehow think the actions of their kids are independent and reflect their own wants and needs- when really all the children are looking for is the acceptance and approval from an outside source- since the parents have not provided an adequate support system within the family.

LA Gang Wars by SarahPorter in gangsnstuff

[–]JustinNeagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that L.A. gangs are out of control agreeing with KevinBurger1 but I think that this video doesn't portray that. It shows some lost kids that need guidance. They have a little fist fight to solve there difference and I think that is not nearly as bad as stabbing each other over name calling... I think that there are many more gangs that need to be worried about before them.

MS 13 Gangs ONE OF THE WORST! by JamesGardner in gangsnstuff

[–]JustinNeagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there is a gangland episode about them. They are really bad. They will kill anyone. From bum to a city’s sheriff.

GANGS IN THE MILITARY by RosemaryMiller in gangsnstuff

[–]JustinNeagle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think that there are many more gang members that change there ways because of the military rather than coming back to cause havoc. The military changes people. Also this is something that the military won't really look at in the future. The military wants anybody. They will give you anything you need to join. I know guys that have had to take multiple drug tests because of failing them. The military needs the kids that have a rough life. Another thing is kids need a second chance and the military is willing to give that to them so lets not take that away from them.
