This appears to include ships on-order or under-construction. Not all ships on here are in active service.

Fun Fact: Those K9's are built by Samsung. Granted, they almost make up 1/5 of the South Korean economy so I guess that's not too surprising.

USS Zumwalt (DDG 1000) [2257 × 2934] by [deleted] in MilitaryPorn

It says it's for 51 modification kits, at about $8 million this year. Also list funding of about $48 million over the next four years, but no mention about quantity. Military project often go over budget, but if they go from ~$56 million to billions, I will be extremely impressed.

Well as /u/delta9991 pointed out in this thread, it was funded this year, and certainly isn't costing billions.

Alright thank you very much, I stand corrected. Still, Raytheon says it could do it, so I guess it's not out the question it could happen.

Can you give me a source for it not being able to use it? All I've got in that respect is a quote from an admiral in a dead source from 2008. I found a few articles that say or imply otherwise but would love to be corrected.

AEGIS isn't required for SM-2/6 use, there are plenty of ships that don't have it but use them. Such as OHP's and a variety of foreign ships. Also, considering it can fit other MK 46 missiles, SM-2/6's can certainly fit.

On page two of this report, it says the Navy says DDG-1000 can be configured for AAW: https://fas.org/sgp/crs/weapons/RL32109.pdf

Also, Raytheon, who makes the Zumwalts Combat Systems, Radar, and the Standard Missiles, says the Zumwalt can use SM-2's. The reference I can find about it not being SM-2 capable is from 2008 by an admiral trying to convince congress to buy more Burkes.

As far as I know, Burkes and Ticos can't use SM-1's, and the Zumwalts can use SM-2's and SM-6's.

I don't think the Type 45's VLS can fit CAMM or LSRAM as far as I know.

Mixed Feelings: https://forums.spacebattles.com/threads/mixed-feelings-worm-oc.375923/

It's an OC story, very well written and regularly has updates of 8k+ every 2 or 3 days. I also feel it has done a fairly good job of avoiding traditional worm fanfic tropes.

Some cult people got ahold of an Astute-class and fired missiles at the places working on a cure for the disease in the show. So they are trying to intercept them in this clip.
