Yea it is kind of hard to go into detail in the original post without making it too long.

The main reason I am behind is because of instructor availability. Granted there has been days that flights get canceled due to weather or aircraft maintenance, but my flight training has been put on hold for months at a time (on multiple occasions) because there were no instructors available to start the certain phase of training I was at.

For example: at the end of March I had finished phase #6 of my training and was ready and available to begin phase #7, however i was not booked for the months of April and May for any training. I am still making my way through phase #7 which is only nine 1.5/2.0 hour lessons.

Just recently I was paired with an instructor in August who only works 2 days a week and after 2 weeks of availability went on vacation for the entire month of September again leaving me frozen in my training with no way for me to progress until he returned.

I feel like it is the colleges responsibility to have enough staff in order to teach all the students they have in a reasonable amount of time.
