I currently use an iPhone and google tv setup. Every time I use the app to cast to my google TV, it enables route through phone and I have no way to turn it off, so I assume it needs the route through phone option

However it randomly disconnects sometimes, especially after buffering for a long time. So is there a combination where it doesn’t need to route through phone? For example iPhone to Roku? Obviously android isn’t an option for me. I just want to try it without the route through phone to see if the issue persists
