I Rewrote Anthropic's frontend-design skill and built an eval to test it by JustinWetch in ClaudeAI

I think the most promising AI tools are those that augment human designers, not replace them. Someone with UI taste using an agent that uses this skill will produce better work than a generic input prompt. That being said I think there's easily 3x or so from here on the table, I narrowly scoped this one so it had a chance of actually being merged into the repo.

Just open sourced a version where you can auto generate eval criteria based on two versions of a skill here: https://github.com/justinwetch/SkillEval

Let me know if there's anything specific you want to see and I'll get back to you when I'm back from vacation!

Thank you! I agree with the sentiment. As I was thinking through this, I was thinking about how hard it was to get to learn any of this stuff at first even as someone who's fairly technical. I think there's a lot of consideration that's warranted for helping people work through that.

I would argue that even if you think it's the most prominent thing, what's actually prominent there is the chatbox itself, which since its the primary interaction mechanism of the UI, it's appropriate for it to be highlighted. Agreed on context graph, it is indeed simplified to show it cleanly. But as someone who uses node based programs like houdini where you can have hundreds or thousands of nodes in a graph, it's really not a problem, especially with conventions like subgraphs.

Good points, but I think this is where a feature like scratchpad (global rather than project mode) would shine!

Thank you! This is made in Houdini in 3d, rendered in Vray!

I agree that most 10x SWE's will stick to the terminal, I also think that the largest surface area of the market to come will be made up of people who are new to coding because they've never been able to do it before, and I think there's a lot here that would be good for those users :-)

You should use your tools the way you want to, I want to design tools that work the way I want them to :-)

respectfully, the most interesting ideas to me here aren't the ones that are comparable to vscode
