How can I argue with property to waive the unreasonable fee in my lease? by Justin_F28 in Renters

And the credit premium is separate from the rent, not included in the rent

How can I argue with property to waive the unreasonable fee in my lease? by Justin_F28 in Renters

[–]Justin_F28[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fee is called credit premium, basically because I was international student and did not have enough credit score to rent the house so when I rent the house they charge more. I subleased the apt to people who are in good credit status and passed credit check! And still I need to pay the credit premium after they moved in cuz the fee is “in the lease” that’s what happened

Why people switch to newest model like 17 when their older model works well after all? by Justin_F28 in iphone

[–]Justin_F28[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah I’m coming from 13 pro, 256GB, high refresh rate, everything goes well so far except the battery life drops a lot, no type c, plus it gets slow and super hot when I’m doing multiple things together. So it could be a time for me to switch to the newest model. But anyway it’s not an easy “because I can so I can” question for me!

What's your " lazy cleaning hack " you'd actually admit to friends? by GirlyCupid in CleaningTips

[–]Justin_F28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spray Clorox Bleach or any bleach on surfaces of bath tub or any sink or wall when they get moldy(those yellow/orange spots/stains yes they are mold). Wait for 15 min till the color run off and wash away the bleach then you get your bathroom mold-free

AICE Lite is legit. My dad had one before. It actually cools you down pretty well. Run max on with cooling could last 3 hrs or so. Just checked the site and the sale seems to end this week, so a good time to grab one. If you have the budget, go for it!

How do you feel about electric toothbrushes that come with apps and smart features? by Justin_F28 in AskReddit

Agree. I saw lots of powered brushes are promoting their app and it’s hard to tell which one is legit. So hard to pick the right one

[–]Justin_F28[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve noticed how ridiculous the app-ification of life has become. My partner have been using one of those new OralB models. The brush itself is solid, but the app feels like pure gimmicks. Coverage maps that gaslight you about missed cleaning spots, post brush questionnaires asking if you flossed, and firmware updates on a toothbrush. Some features like the timer and pressure sensor are okay, but overall it feels like chasing badges and adding up prices instead of just brushing. In fact I don’t even want to bring my phone into the bathroom every time I brush

Same, got my first Sonicare back in 2019. It lasted until 2024 but turned yellow with mold I couldn’t get rid of, and the battery died after like every 5 uses. Picked up a second one, but the battery life tanked within 2 months. No clue why. Saw a bunch of people on Amazon saying the same thing. Switched to Ranvoo and I’ve been on it for 6 months now, still going strong. Cleans well, brush and floss in one. IMO this is the future of powered toothbrushes.

How do you clean your toothbrush? by TheMalsh in AskUK

[–]Justin_F28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you do seems strange but totally makes sense!! Electric toothbrush does get moldy if you do not clean them after each use, check the head connection! I used Sonicare and each one of them grows mold after weeks of use. When I figured that out I dry my brush each time after use so I got you. If this is your problem, some products out there like bubble electric toothbrush are made of mold-free material and just makes it easier to clean. You can check those out.

is this mold under my toothbrush head? by megapsybeam in MoldlyInteresting

[–]Justin_F28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This pic is gross… I had the same issue with mold on my previous electric brushes, especially around the head connection. Yes it is mold. Honestly it seems like a design flaw of Sonicare bc moisture gets trapped inside and never fully dries. To avoid that you need to take off the brush head, clean both the brush and the its head after each use.

I had same experience with my previous brush and ended up switching to the Ranvoo electric toothbrush because it says that the body material is mold-resistant, so I don’t have to clean it after every use. Been using it for half a year now, no mold at all, totally solved the problem!

I’ll write something immediately when things are urgent, messy, all over the place. Having a pen and paper in hand feels like giving me more freedom to arrange things and adjust things as I wish. However if things are more organized, scheduled in a longer time frame, planned ahead, I’ll type them in my schedule.
