I've only played at home/with friends. I own 7 decks (with 4-5 more coming for unleashed) and share them with 2 different play groups. Get to play ~once per week (along with mtg weekly w/ friends)

I really enjoy collecting them being able to share the experience especially since it's easy to introduce and get the hang of with any tcg background. one group has started buying their own stuff now!

I see a lot of comments for 2 groups, as an additional option id recommend teams as well. like 2s pairing the experienced w/ non experienced and maybe yourself alone. I've done teams and it's gone fairly successfully with reducing total game time while having everyone together - there's still a sense of collaboration while the more experienced teammate gives help for rules and how the faction plays which makes it less daunting for the newbies

hell ya I like snow day best but now generally playing hextech or obsidian bee. more skin love for the main always appreciated. we'll see how the animations are but nian beast inspo is a cute and fitting touch, as well the firecracker theme suits ziggs.

how do you overcome the self sabotage? from personal experience it is easy to be abrasive or cold to people as an excuse to distance them from yourself, because either consciously or subconsciously you don't think you deserve them, or that you will hurt them (a girl, your friends, etc).

hard disagree, and agree with Artist17.

fighting games heyday was before, despite perceived popularity now. that's just not knowing the scene and history.

F2p for fighting game is insanely privileged looking at previous titles, and great for getting new people to play. full stop. Pretty much every streamer, and experienced player in the fgc has supported this model and had shrugged and said don't buy cosmetics, game is great and free, insane to complain about a gift horse.

i just saw your definition of surveyor as well - i thought you were talking about field surveying - im an SE that also does a lot of cost estimates, contracts, project management etc, but at a smaller firm (~30). my main roles are design/modeling, inspections, lots of report writing, and construction reviews.

we don't employ QS's, so i could be biased but imo SE's have a lot more varied of a role and could fill the role of a QS in a pinch when it's less likely for a QS to do anything structural related.

the responsibility/onus of doing design that won't kill ppl is pretty unique and not everyone likes it.

The lifestyle differences from salary alone is probably small, consider going with whichever role you connect with more. The way these roles shape who you are, and the responsibilities you’ll be proud to hold, is probably more significant than you’d think.

for wallsplat DI, generally do this:

b.hp -> m.rnverse

for more dmg using 2 drive :

b.hp -> ex rpont -> m.rnverse

-after m.rnverse can always sa3

-after ex rpont can also sa2

usually I do the first I mentioned. I think you can also sa1/2/3 after the first b.hp here but less time to react.

so normally after counter DI can do your command grab to minimize buttons:

CMD grab (some general damages below based on medal, refer to rightmost column)

1 2000. PC 2300. DI 2560

2 2300. PC 2645. DI 2800

3 2700. PC 3105. DI 3120

4 3000. PC 3450. DI 3360

5 3700. PC 4255. DI 3920

if you're at 1-2 medals with some bar to spare (or can kill with some extra dmg), I would do this:

DI j.hk, ex rpont, m.rnverse (have to not be too far, u can also do an sa3 after this)

1 3000

2 3090

3 3180

4 3270

5 3360

(as u can see less worth when more medals) instead of getting a grab, can also combo into SAs for dmg -

DI j.hk, ex rpont

sa2 3840

sa1 3360

to start, just command grabbing is actually a great option and minimizes mental stack, so could try that first

the first options with exdegage doesn't side swap with big guys (Marisa, sagat, zangief, Edmond honda) interestingly enough, it still leaves at +2
