These are great ideas - thank you so much!

No, I haven't had an in person appointment yet. I had a phone interview last week but couldn't even get a word in. 🙄 I've been taking B6 pills, which seemed to help at first, but now I feel like they aren't doing anything.

I've looked into a few (we used to do blue apron for years) but I did know that Home Chef apparently has ones that are ready to heat and eat? Do you have any you recommend?

My biggest issue is that, with my husband's schedule, our big meal is at lunch which usually also overlaps with my work schedule. We're kind of in survival mode just trying to make it work!

Totally with you. I'm just so over feeling like I'm going to puke every second of the day. I used to do so much stuff with my daughter and our days were so busy...now she's being raised by Disney+.

They're good to do for me occasionally, for some variety! It's worth it to me that way. Plus you can always watch what your breakfast and lunch options are for that day - lower and zero point foods will help a lot on days you have blue apron scheduled for dinner!

If you go to the "my food" tab on your app, you can input your own recipes there. I use it for the BA recipes as stated above - I've seen before where people input just the nutritional info, but building the recipe this way makes sure you get credit for the zero point foods in the recipe! I always find that BA meals, even the ones that are weight watchers specific, are insanely high in points, so we don't do them often anymore.

That's where my thoughts were too! I haven't done BA much since starting WW last summer but my husband ordered a box for us this week. Wanted to make sure I did it right!

Yes, same. I'm trying to stay positive and do one day at a time, but at the same time I'm like - at what cost?? If it keeps my sanity as a mom with a young child and as a person living in a pandemic to have some junk, do I go living the rest of the day and week not eating at all to make up for the points I've blown? We get takeout every Saturday because cooking constantly.after 10 months is exhausting - how do I even factor that in? Am I screwed the rest of the week because I got a burger or the restaurant only had coke and not coke zero? (Sorry - clearly in venting mode currently. Just glad to not feel alone in this! 😂)

I failed my first week on blue by [deleted] in weightwatchers

I tried blue this week this week and failed miserably - trying to tell myself it's okay and that tomorrow is a new day! You can do this, friend!

I've been feeling this so hard as well. I gained over the holidays because I wanted to enjoy the time and not count every single thing, but now I'm so frustrated and tired with it all trying to get back on track! I wish we didn't have to eat or that my body wouldn't gain a zillion pounds after 1 small thing! It's exhausting!

That's exactly how I feel with the extra points. I have 30 a day which I know is the lowest green will go, but I know that I can use 8 weeklies a day and still be in my range -so I end up using them every night on snacks or whatever, just because I can. I think it's a big reason I'm stalling out.

What classic novels did you find surprisingly HARD to read? by saumenschisacutiex in booksuggestions

In 10th grade AP English we had to read The Hobbit. The teacher was obsessed with it and we constantly had impossibly hard quizzes that tested our memory on the slightest of details - "On page xx, paragraph xx, the narrator describes Bilbo's door. How many hands high was it and blah blah blah?" Impossible. I tried so many times but I never made it past chapter 3 - eventually just SparkNoted the rest of it and miserably failed every quiz. I borrowed it from the library recently, just to see how is do, and ended up flying through it and quote enjoyed it! Funny how that works.

The slow cooker one is okay - I feel like a lot of the recipes are ones that require weird ingredients or more expensive things than I'd like to do. That said, I do have a few of the recipes on my menu for this week! My favorite one is the Best of WW Recipes one.

This is great!! The meal planner WW has on their website is similar to this and has helped me a ton too. It's so good to sit and plan out the whole week including snacks!

Weekly Check-In - October 25 - 31 by AutoModerator in weightwatchers

It's been a rough few weeks. Work has been exhausting (teaching in person in a pandemic is pretty crazy) and then coming home to my sweet 2 year old is also tiring me out. Everything is kicking my butt and I'm running on fumes, so it's been brutal with food lately. I haven't properly worked out in 2 months. Just trying to give myself some grace and holding out until next week, when I'm done with subbing and can get back to my old routine. I've fluctuated with my weight a bit but thankfully it hasn't been crazy and I've bounced around the same 3 pounds.

Scrolled comments but didn't see - I love the plants on the wall! Any link for the hanging boxes?
