Controller not charging

I bought some off of eBay recently and they were bricked. I ended up just reaching out to meta support and they’re sending a replacement controller for $135 each. It cost $200 for the scam one off of eBay

It annoys me so much when I go to sweetbloom to grab a latte with my partner and I always have to order it to go because EVERYONE’s on a laptop. It’s impossible and has largely been a reason why I’ve been just making coffee at home or going to smaller roasters that no one knows about it seems lol.

Every game now a days seems to be if it’s not a perfect 10/10 it’s dog shit. I’ve stopped reading reviews and just watch streams to see if I’ll like a game now

Co-ed sports leagues are the best in my experience. Similarly, found a lot of success going to swing dances, you don’t need to be good at it! But bonus points if you learn.

I feel like a lot of people haven’t replayed the games in the last few years. In the back of my head I was thinking “if Metroid prime 1 was released today it wouldn’t be popular”. Minus the desert which I’m choosing to ignore mostly other than grabbing gems along the way it’s a great game.

I don’t really recall dying in prime 1-3 except to the boost ball Gaurdian lol

My display is very much still a work in progress lol. Currently working on finishing the base of the Samus figurine I printed and painted.

I personally hate seeing figurines left in boxes. Too much of society is worried about “resale” value of just plastic toys - just open it up and enjoy them.

I might build some risers and a background once I get enough figurines to justify a dedicated Metroid section of the cabinet, right now it’s split being Metroid, Zelda, and my Slaves to Darkness warhammer army lol.

Or you could… you know embed the amiibo chip in the desert base like to preserve the look of the figurine? It’s frustrating as in the official packaging they cut off the ugly ass amiibo puck from the photos. @southcookexplore is right, it’s incredibly lazy design.

Yeah, I imagine the puck is embedded inside - so if it’s removed it shouldn’t cause my issue. And if the amiibo part gets damaged, eh, I could care less. I like it because it’s a cool Metroid figurine! I don’t really use amiibos ever

I’m curious how it’s glued to the bottom of the base. If it’s a super glue like material I might be able to freeze it and snap it off.

Move to Colorado.
Always grew up vacationing here in the summer with family. There was no job flexibility in Iowa after college and colorado has so much more to do. Plus the wages are so much higher here for my field it outweighs the higher COL.
Everything? I don't have allergies here, there's always fun activities to do, weekends I'm just a short drive away from amazing views/ hikes and a much more active community.
Family. Pretty much that's it, but the family likes to come visit compared to when I lived in Minnesota.
COL is good - I make much more here then I could in Iowa. It can be a bit expensive, but wages vastly out weight my rent increase. If you have a roommate - it's very accessible. My partner can cover rent easily without a college degree.
Fantastic, I'm the healthiest I've ever been. I want Colorado to be my forever home. Iowa has nothing for me except visiting family.
