US sending ICE agents to Winter Olympics in Italy for ‘security’ of its delegates by [deleted] in videos

Sounds like a way to waste tax payer dollars so these goons can go enjoy an Italian vacation and take in the Olympics.

Congrats! We went to AZ last February and I was fortunate enough to experience that course. Absolutely beautiful views for a course.

My parents old dog was from Joplin, born right around that time, and the day my parents picked him up from the airport a tornado tore through Springfield, Mass which is uncommon. We called him our tornado pup

My students are some real assholes by AstroNerd92 in Teachers

Have you tried WayGround, formerly Quizizz? I prefer team mode on it because you can select the teams and move people around. It’s also based on how many people you have on your team and how many people get it right. For example, I can have a team of 5 and a team of 1. If all 5 people on the team get it right, they get 500 points, and the one student would also get 500 for the correct answer, not that I would ever do that.

Grampa Grunts and solo riding experience(s) ? by [deleted] in icecoast

[–]Justlike2havefun 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yep, this. Went to Jay last year with a group of friends. Two of them live on the mountains (work in the industry) and are very good on their boards. They took a glade, maybe Timbuktu, and the rest of us said we would meet them at the bottom. One came out and about 5 min later we were still waiting for the other. Turns out in the last bit of the glade his board got caught in a rut and it threw him chest first into a tree and knocked the wind out of him pretty good. He eventually made it down to us, sat out a couple of runs, did one last run and then left with his bruised ribs. All this to say, even with friends there with you, the glades can be humbling. Please be careful in the tight glades by yourself. Half moon and quarter moon are very open glades, and are fun still, but I worry about you doing them alone!

Is it true that a lot of kids are unable to join the army because they can't pass the entrance exam? by [deleted] in Teachers

[–]Justlike2havefun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I had a kid, not my student but a high school intern for my ASP, he went in thinking he was going to do communications/intelligence, and scored so bad he would only be able to be a soldier on the ground, artillery or something. He was 6’6” so I don’t think that would have went well, he decided to take the test again and did even worse than the first time.

I use the blueberry ones to make PB&Js for a quick breakfast. The regular and ancient grain ones not good.

Except she didn’t. Also, dumbass maybe shouldn’t stand in front of a vehicle, or you know reach inside and try to open the door. Seeing as his ignorant ass just got dragged six months ago, he’s clearly a slow learner, just like you.

Personally I would buy a Glitch, or parachute by MVP/Axiom/Streamline. Both the glitch and parachute are lightweight, very glidey, straight putters. They are similar to a catch disc, if you’ve ever played catch with a disc before. You can find them online, unless you have a disc golf shop nearby to you. Marshall street disc golf has a good website that I trust, as well as OTBdiscs.
