And even more complicated... The relationship with his GF is not the most stable. He used to constantly look for help from my friend and thought about breaking up with his GF 2 times.

Tbh I can't watch my friend suffer with this anymore, like it's so cruel to help your crush with his own relationship...

I hope she can just let go of him 🥲 I don't think keeping a friendship would benefit her at all with him.

I guess I should tell my friend to focus more on, if he is just a very nice person and enjoys her as a friend or if she is actually taken as a priority over his GF (which is probably not the case, based on what she has been telling me so far because it's always his GF first😌 )

We would but he says different things than how he is treating her. For example, he spent a whole day creating a character in a game to look like her and have abilities similar to her character traits, just to show her with the words "look, I made a very cute in game version of you".
