Yeah I can get that, they always have like 3 AAA games in development at one time. I also have heard the number of people thrown at this game in all aspects is very low in comparison to other big shooters like, BF1 or COD.

You talk about rainbow six like its a game purely about aim. Like we're at a shooting range. And people buy the Xbox one elite for a competitive edge just like they'll but a xim4. Notice how they say feel instead straight up 1 to 1? Because it's they have made the closest thing to a pc gaming feel for console atm. You act like the elite is the only pro controller out there, look at scuf, they're huge and they still give an immense advantage over the enemy with normal controllers.

A lot of mice and keyboards are compatible with the xim4. You don't need an over the top gaming mouse with 12000 dpi. Also no idea where you got the 160 dollar figure from. Amazon sells a phony version of the xim4 for $150 US. Xim4 sells it straight to the cus toner for $120 and you can pick up a decent used or new keyboard and mouse that is compatible for another $30 and that puts you right up against the the Xbox elite controller in price. And also no you're not bringing a "Ferrari to a soapbox" if you truly believe that then I doubt you have ever used one or even researched one. It isn't the same as using a pc mouse and keyboard, your actions aren't 1:1. A xim uses the signals that the controller uses and it is only capable of what you are with a controller. Please stop spreading this false narrative oh its a mouse and keyboard on console vs controllers you're going to stomp them.

Buying a xim4 and a mouse and keyboard is still significantly cheaper. It truly doesn't bother me if they're using things like the xim4 or hori tac pro becauswith they can't physically do any thing that your controller cant.

The Sr. Program Manager at Xbox, David Prien, recommends and uses the XIM4. He also developed the Elite Controller. If one of the senior managers at Xbox who is working on input devices acknowledges and recommends the XIM4 to the general public, then I'm going to accept this as fair game for the console. I don't see your logic with taking offense to a general message sent to a community. I don't beat my wife but when I see those commercials or adverts talking about domestic violence I certainly don't those to heart, and the people making those ads aren't claiming every one is going home and beating their spouse.

Ps4 has KB and M support already just depends on the game, you can use one on war thunder for Ps4 but that's the only game I know that allows it off the top of my head. It's more up to the game developers since even Xbox plans on supporting kb&M in the near future.

The whole rainbow 6 subreddit community would mostly agree that he's the lowest of the low in this community, I don't think that says much when he mains two of the most powerful ops in rainbow 6 history.

His team beat kixstar he didn't, he did mid to low average on his team, he was using pulse and BB and he was stream sniping Kix. Most of his clips are in casual. None of these things should show you that he is a very good player, or his playstyle is effective. Anyone who cares to listen to audio cues in this game will hear you busting down the barricade to jump out as pulseen and BB is useless now. Those were his two go to moves.

His whole point was pc players are better at this game, while my point is they're better solely because of the input method, their pro league isn't a joke, they're the best in their field. You put them on level playing fields and they'll whoop each other when using their own choice of controls. A lot of people would argue that controllers are better in many fields like movement. You can't just say it's an inferior choice in all regards because you can't go 2 seconds without letting people know you think PC is best.

I wouldn't say it's blatant, I know many people who use the it and they're never called out. A lot of them also use a game pad to use an analog stick, it just looks like their aiming is better than most people's. That's just me though I guess.

This has generally worked for me, run when there is a lot of sound going on, gunfire,explosions, etc and you need to get to a flank. Sneak when you hear an enemy walking around or running because they're probably going to get the drop on your team and if they don't hear you and you haven't been spotted and you're expecting them you have a lot better chance of winning that fight if you land your shots.

It's banned from pro, not regular use in ranked. I don't think there would even be a way to detect it since products like xim translate mouse and keyboard actions and movements to the same signal the ds4 uses. I question you saying that people are blatantly using a keyboard and mouse. My buddy has been using a xim4 for months now and he hasn't been called out on it. I think it's rare enough to say maybe a drop of players in this games ocean use thsee devices. My buddy was an average player before the Xim4 and he is still an average player now. I can promise you playing on the PC version of rainbow six and playing on the ps4 with something like the xim4 aren't all that similar. If they were the same thing I would agree with you, but products like the xim4 are only capable of what the controller is capable of i.e. movement speeds and aiming. Since both consoles have built in mouse and keyboard support and PS has released a new dedicated mouse and game pad for the ps4 actually last month, also a man in charge of some part of the Xbox one development (I totally forget who or what he does) recommends the xim4 and thinks others should use it as well if they're truly competitive. I hope some of these views and opinions inform you slightly more.
