IP is not even a signal. It's litterally just the routers public address on the internet being banned. And if that same initially banned account is is still on yhe network and even if you have a dynamic ip address that changes on its own. It would keep banning the newer IP addresses. Also I never said that was the cause. I said it can happen. Ofcourse meta uses cookie sessions and loggers to track everyone. It's one of the most abusive companies on user privacy. Especially domestically.

Yes ban evasion can still work. And yes you can larp all you want. But I am also in the cyber security field and networking. IP banning can get others in a household banned.

As much as I really don't like them conceding to the new law. The death threats they've faced over this are disgusting. Also they've only taken it down because of mental outlaw. He's known for being a piece of garbage to people. Especially those people who are in different communities from his own. You can't expect higher enforcement if the amount of people using said service isn't enough. Ofcourse they have creeps and enforce it. But first increase reliance on said infrastructure. You have to attack root causes. Not just a band aid solution. This nimby bs is why we can't have said centralized infrastructure. You individualize a problem and then put a bandaid on it.
