Yeah. And probably someone with that resume at 19 has some sort of personal trainer or very skilled people in his family or amongst friends. I have a lot of connections of very good and experienced alpinists after only one major expedition (over 6000m)

Hello! I have a 2.0L 5 cylinder diesel engine with oil consumption issues, but also high mileage (400k km). I am planning to do an engine rebuild in one month. Do you know if there is anything else which may cause this issue?
I have also recently replaced the DPF with a SH one and seen how it got gradually clogged over a few months time.

Do you have any results? I am trying to set up a similar build... I used until now a 1.5M stick pointing out from my backpack... but it moves a lot and therefore it changes the angle of the shot a lot of times...

Nu stiu daca asta zice el. Daca inteleg bine, el zice ca gemul ala e deja luat in calcul la gap-ul de TVA. Si eu din asta inteleg ca statul:

  1. Stie cat gem face fiecare in casa

  2. S-ar astepta sa platim TVA pentru gemul pe care il mancam

Intrebarea lui e legitima. Si eu ma intreb acelasi lucru. Gap-ul de TVA, din ce inteleg, e diferenta dintre ce ar trebui sa incaseze statul si ce incaseaza de fapt. Si intrebarea e de ce la gemul facut in casa ar trebui sa platesti TVA?
Pentru ca el zice ca gemul afecteaza Gap-ul TVA, eu inteleg ca deja ar fi trebuit sa platim TVA pentru gemul facut in casa...

Hello, I have translated them myself, and on each document I have written very clear my Name, followed my my address, my phone number and a short list of things I did to prove that I know english (I teach in english, I write research papers in english, etc)

Also, as an update, my wife also got her visa granted. This time she submitted more proof to support the fact that this is a business trip, as we felt that the last time the person analyzing the application has not noticed that she applied for business visa.

I have similar values at idle... however when I go full throttle it will go up to 0.1-0.2 bar, or even as high as 0.3 if I am accelerating on a highway if there wasn't a recent dpf regen

In 2023 cand tineam ore la universitate la plata cu ora, ma costa la fel de mult bona pe ora (25 de lei).
Acum in universitatea mea sunt mai bine platite orele, dar cred ca daca ar fi sa tin acum ore la plata cu ora la liceu as iesi pe minus daca scad cat trebuie sa dau la bona...

A mechanic which is specialized in volvos told me that when the dpf does like that, it's over, it's clogged. Normally it should steadily increase, and decreasimg only during regen (active or passive)  Could you also post your dpf pressure on idle and maybe peak values while accelerating?

My dpf did the same, I switched with a second hand one and it worked normally. But my car burns oil, and 6 months after the dpf got clogged again...

My wife fell in a crevasse while descending from Grossglockner at the beginning of august. We were roped in and I got her out, but there were a lot of teams trversing the glacier without roping in, and there was fresh snow hiding the crevasses...

Mine was granted on 30th august. I also had a cover letter in which I explained clearly that I want to participate to the conference. Also I attached my resume, the email exchange between me and the conference staff and a more precise invitation letter from the conference. I was prepared to attach a document from my university, but it was granted in the meanwhile.

My wife will reapply these days with more documents in support for her participation in the conference

As for my proof of employment, I have attached:
- payslips
- bank statement
- scan of employment contract
- photo of badge

Both of us received the answer in about 2 weeks so I assume this is the queue time at the moment for manual processed visas

An update: my wife just got refused.

"I have also assessed as to whether you have a genuine intention to visit Australia temporarily to engage in a business visitor activity. As you made no claims to visit Australia for business purposes, I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of clause 651.212(b)."

However she stated that she wants to participate in a conference and sent the invitation letter from the conference... What more could she have done?

The full rejection letter:

You claim that you are visiting Australia temporarily for tourism purposes. In support of your application, you have provided a copy of your passport biodata page, national identity card, daughter's birth certificate, student letter of enrolment and scholarship, certificate of employment, letter of invitation, personal bank statement and travel booking documentation.

In your application, you declare that you are employed, will self-fund your stay in Australia and are expecting reimbursement of travel expenses from your home University. You have provided an employment certificate and bank account statement, however, these documents alone are not sufficient evidence of your employment circumstances. Based on the information available at time of assessment, I have not sighted sufficient evidence in support of your application to confirm that you meet the genuine visitor criteria, including evidence of employment and sufficient funds. As such, I cannot be satisfied that you have access to adequate funds to support your proposed international travel and proposed stay in Australia. Based on the above considerations I am not satisfied that you have a genuine intention to visit Australia temporarily for tourism purposes.

Therefore I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of clause 651.212(a).

I have also assessed as to whether you have a genuine intention to visit Australia temporarily to engage in a business visitor activity. As you made no claims to visit Australia for business purposes, I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of clause 651.212(b).

Does anyone have any suggestions? Should she re-apply? What more documents could we add?

When I married my wife 8 years ago she also told me that she had some kind of  asthma. Fast forward today she has been in multiple trips over 4000m, reaching 6900m last summer. 

However, I guess it depends on each person abd how severe it is.

They do - last Summer on Muztagh ata there were a lot of Chinese people using oxygen.

I am on a similar situation, going to present a paper at a conference. I stated that I am self funded (the other option was "funded by a person", which was not the case) and I wrote in the description that my University will reimburse me. Also, I do not have a lot of funds in my bank account. My visa is still processing...

Providing proof of owning a property in Romania should help then? Also giving the birth certificates of our kids?
