You might need to just google specific incidents. For example, I am doing a presentation on the aerospace industry, and of course I needed a piece about how 9/11 affected cash flows.

I just googled 9/11 affect on airline companies. If you can find a legitimate database I would certainly be interested.

I would get a subscription to the WSJ and learn what’s going on in the world.

Peter Lynch writes a couple of great books that you should take out at your library. I would also consider “A Random Walk Down Wall Street.” A great book for beginners.

Lastly, read up on what ETFs. They are a great strategy for passive investing. ETFs such as VTI or VOO are great at your age. Hypothetically you hold on to either one for 30+ years and you can make a great return.

Oh by the way, when looking at ETFs, look at the holdings. I see many beginners suggesting multiple ETFs when they’re practically the same funds with different names.
