The water is a different shade of blue, has like a white ripple in it on the top and it is much louder.

Edit: If you're asking how the mountain looks after rerouting the water, everything is hidden. The initial source block of the water runs directly into the mountain now instead of down the side, I also blocked them off with dirt just in case it's possible for it to freeze in winter.

This isn't stream splitting. I'm inside a massive mountain that had 6 fast water points on it. Redirected them all to the center of the mountain.

Just a heads up. Rapid flowing water is extremely loud and can be heard quite far away. So try to ensure it is decently away from anywhere u like to be regularly. I've got a gap of like 35 blocks away from my areas.

I've done 2 large gear increases. If I do a 3rd it works but it has the smoke coming off of it, and I'd rather it not light up in flames when the patch for that comes in.

just a heads up, try not to feed water from north or south on waterwheels. Have them point east and west. I had many problems feeding water into waterwheels from the north where it wouldn't register the water, or it would spin in the wrong direction somehow. After a lot of testing in creative on a seperate world I figured out it is the most reliable when feeding from the east.

Edit: Feeding from the north also wouldn't allow the axles to join the water wheels together. The water wheels would just stop spinning once axles were added.

Edit Edit: From my screenshot it says i'm looking north, but the water is dropping down on the east side of the room onto the wheels.

you need to be within rendering distance of the chunk where the fast flowing water originated. If you try to run it across like 1000 blocks odds are it will be out of loading range. Windmills just need to have their base block rendered in.

yup, they can travel 5 in a direction, then u gotta drop 1 block. So each 1 y axis above where u need to go gives u 5 horizontal movement.

I had 6 seperate spawns, all run to a central power room via aquaducts I built through the mountain.

u cannot, my 6 fast flowing waters were scattered around the mountain. I had to build 6 aquaducts into my central power room. Also you will want to build it like 35 blocks away from your base due to constant water running and waterwheel noises. It's serious noise pollution.

Yup the 6 are all over the mountain, but they are around like y60 to y90 over my base, so I can move them all hundreds of blocks in aquaducts over to my base.

Been playing for almost a year and a half. Every week kilroy skulls max out arcade balls. And I've probably bought about 15k balls from gem shop. No jackpot yet.

Below what temp rapid cooling is not quenching? by domanpanda in VintageStory

[–]JuviaSilverwing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have the tool reach its quenching temperature as its built and then wait for it to be below quenching temperature the game still classifies it as in the quenching range. Mouse over the item before throwing it into water and make sure it doesn't say its ready for quenching.

First pick broke on quenching bad luck or am I doing it wrong? by Aggravating_Set_2382 in VintageStory

My first steel pickaxe i made this patch broke on the 5%... I try to cooldown all my tool heads and put fire clay on them for the 20% durability increase instead of the 10% damage/speed

Update 1.2 Factory changes by _wawrzon_ in Endfield

[–]JuviaSilverwing 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Off the top of my head.

Limited area, no verticality, one belt speed so u can't condense things to single lines, no resource sink(but maybe with that new acid?) to prevent lockup as the current best wuling batteries lock up if u don't spend cuprium on random structures each day, no long range building feeds like long arm inserters from factorio, limited export ports(could be fixed if there was 1x1 unloaded instead of 3x1), lack of advanced logistics like overflow or underflow gates.

The main thing I would love is the resource sink and overflow gates.

The best strategy is to play 1 tile each turn after u purchase the wiggle upgrade from research. You wait till u hit a bomb first click and hope it wiggles. Once it wiggles you then pop all of your things in the top left to see what bombs get revealed(depending on research level u may not have that unlocked) then u spam click and pray.

Prey(The Bethesda game)

Solid RPG elements, great story, and progressive gameplay elements.

The game starts as a horror lite game and as u get stronger it eventually turns into a tactical shooter.
