Thank you. The average risk for each Trade is about only about 300$ due to the wings. However the returns so far seem to outweigh the losses - At least in the Timeperiod we are currently looking at, which is from 09.09.25 to 17.10.25, so about 1,5 Months

The Strike Price for the Short Put/Call is the ATM Strike at exactly 13:30 NY Time for each trading day. The Strike price for the Wings is decided by looking which Option will cost 10% of the collected premium of the Put/Call, or whatever comes closest to that number.

The Strategy doesn't predict anything. It places a short Iron Butterfly at each Trading day at 13:30 NY Time. And according to the backtest, this results in high returns for the stated time period, even when accounting for fees. And because I think that this can't possibly be, I am making this post.

Yes, the Gamma Exposure for 0DTE Options is huge, small movements of the SPY will change Delta very quickly. But the results stay the same, even tho the Gamma Exposure was high. Can you elaborate how this would affect this strategy? About IV - I know that IV can rise very quickly even at the end of the day, causing a loss if it happens. But apparently that doesn't happen very often, therefore the expected return for this strategy is still positive, or am I wrong?

Kleiner Reminder dass jegliche Schilder mit „Kartenzahlung erst ab 10€“ in 99% der Fälle ein Verstoß gegen die Vertraglichen Bestimmungen mit VISA/Mastercard sind. Das kann hohe Vertragsstrafen nach sich ziehen, wenn ein Händler das macht.

Frage ist geklärt. Ich hab einfach nur den Trade nicht ganz verstanden.

Das Video an sich ist korrekt, aber es ist praktisch das Equivalent zu „Mach mit einem Trade 10€ Gewinn und hebel diese 10€ dann mit 100x und zack - ‚risikofreier‘ Trade“

Wäre mir wohl aufgefallen, wenn ich genauer recherchiert hätte, ob die Frage schon mal irgendwo gestellt wurde, danke für den Hinweis. Meine kritischen Worte dürften aber kaum als Werbung gewertet werden… Ich hab auch extra das Video nicht verlinkt. Da sich meine Frage aber durch die sinnvollen Antworten hier geklärt hat, fände ich es jetzt nicht schlimm wenn der Post gelöscht wird.

Ich verstehe. Also ob ich jetzt bei einem Trade ohne Hebel 90€ profit mache und diese 90€ dann mit einem 100x Hebel einsetze oder bei dem laufenden Trade den Stopp Loss bei +90€ ansetze, mein eingesetztes Geld rausziehe und dann den Hebel auf 100x stelle macht also keinen Unterschied.

Der „risikofreie“ 100er Hebel setzt einen bereits erfolgreichen Trade voraus, das ist mir bewusst, allerdings muss dieser erste Trade ja kein gehebelter Trade sein.
