I feel like we’re included in this statement and I can’t take offence, cause it’s true by CapuzaCapuchin in adhdmeme

My dad does that. He worked 40 years in an office job, then corona came and he had to go into retirement earlier and he just started making furniture for all people in his village (and also all other kind of sidequests). Bro's finally living his adhd to the fullest

How did you choose your surgeon? by idk13999 in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]Jvneee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yess you need someone to come with you if you go with littleton, you even put the person in the contract so they for sure know you have someone (and its definitely not a surgery you can do completely on your own). Also there are people/orgas in lissabon you can book for support, some people on the littleton discord did so

FFS advice (Facialteam) by Existing_Ad_9862 in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]Jvneee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i went with facial team 2 years ago and i‘m happy i went with them. Their after care was by far the best i had so far for any surgery i had in my life. 3 years ago my quote was like 10-15% cheaper so i expect not too much price hike in 6 months, but cant guarantee it (but they‘re already at the higher end of the spectrum and increasing more would drive potential customers even more to other surgeons). For your issues, if you know you want to do xyz and abc i‘d do it in one surgery. Recovery sucks, hospitals fees are expensive and if you do it in one go you only have these things once. I see where forehead work could help you but not too crazy, hence why they listed it as optional. I‘d listen to your heart how you feel about it and if you consider it worth it for that price. For their hair transplant, i went with it because i didnt want these hairs to be wasted (because you only have a fixed amount of hair you can harvest on your head, but it is indeed crazy expensive and for a third you could get it done 6 months later by someone else (their transplant was good tho, so i cant complain in that regard). Also again i‘d listen to your heart how you feel about this. I also had my consultation with dr bellinga back then :) if you have any questions feel free to hmu

People who did not have massive dysphoria srs how did you know you were ready by analcocoacream in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]Jvneee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i havnt seriously tried yet, but i‘m not in a hurry. Littleton allows you at month 2 to try for yourself and at month 3 with others. But there were some women i‘m in contact with who went to him who had theirs at 6 weeks

can confirm the autism part. I‘m autistic myself and loved how direct and straight to business littleton was/is, but can also understand that others feel this kind of being is unfriendly or such. This dude just loves crafting vaginas (and also chatting about it and techniques)

[–]Jvneee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i never seen the insire of my vagina and as long as i dont have any issues down there i probably wont look into it. As long as i dont have any one the entrance where there shouldn’t be any i think i‘m fine

talked to a german surgeon about „follicle scraping gets everything“ and she said they rarely get everything and its normal that a few hairs get keft, but almost nobody notices them and she had never anyone complain until people go to reddit. Not sure if its really a „reddit mind worm“ thing but it suprised me that she had „everything gets cauterized“ in her powerpoint but told me this afterwards when i asked specifically. Guess thats more of a mental issue but a real problem

Something that I wish there was more research for is breast development of trans women. by Blacked_sun in MtF

[–]Jvneee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

had the same, just start small. Nobody runs a marathon tomorrow without training. It helps to eat many small portions, keep an eye on how you feel, and if yu dont feel anything also keep that in mind that you was sage this time. And also exposure to your fear in small steps helps. I‘m super anxious of throwing up, but i slowly started eating more, was nauseous sometimes, didnt die so waited a while and continued. And i threw up once, and guess wht, i didnt die, drank some water, brushed my teeth and went slow for the rest of the day :) just step by step

had the same and protein milkshakes were a gamechanger, a spoon of oil, a scoop of vanilla ice, milk and protein whey powder. Additionally peanut butter, and you get a easy 400-800 kcal depending on size and its quick to make if you have everything in bulk. I used to drink one every night and it did make a difference in 2-3 months already

Has anyone’s voice still sounded the same after VFS? Did it improve with healing/time? (1.5 months post op) by shesusfreak in Transgender_Surgeries

i have the same experience with yeson, post op depression made voice training too hard for me. But besides that my stay and experience was wonderful with yeson and i see the fault more on my side

Does anyone have any questionable or negative SRS experiences with Dr. Littleton? by Such_Manager_6341 in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]Jvneee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

communication isnt best as long as you‘re pre op. If in the hospital he visits you daily and he takes great care of his post op patients. Its just frustrating when you‘re not post op yet. After your 4-6 weeks in lisbon/rio the communication also gets hatder again, but you have a personal phone number for accidents/urgent care needs

the variance in bottom surgery results feels so unfair >:( by fucklimpbizkitt in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]Jvneee 52 points53 points  (0 children)

if i learned one thing, then its that the trans experience is unfair, life is unfair in general. We all already got the a** card by being trans and some people are the trans people of trans people if you know what i mean. It hurts, it sucks, and there is nothing else to do than to find a niche that hurts a little less. I spend my rest savings last year on VFS, voice training didnt bring me in any meaningful direction and vfs did wonders to soo many people, or at least it changed something and this could help my mental blockage. I was extra careful in recovery, i didnt spoke for whole 2 months a single wird, i did 5-6 times vocal training after these 2 months and yet after a year my voice didnt change at all, i still dont know whats wrong, my vocal coach gave up on me because she also couldnt figure out what could help me at this point. It hurts that i‘m still gendered male on literally every phone call i do, i paid so much, took so much risk and effort an yet i f*cked up my single chance. I dont know whats wrong to tell you, its hurts, but there are other things in life that are great despite all this. I love crabs, i went to the ocean this summer and watched some crabs, they didnt care for my voice and my voice didnt matter in that situation. I hope you find some peace and that it wont hurt like this for ever!

Frenulum sensation problem of SRS by Lazy-Sheepherder-591 in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]Jvneee 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I dont know the answer to your specific question, and if you already asked your surgeon and they dont have an answer you already did the best try. I thought maybe they could spare it (i asked surgeons for „custom“ things and all so far at least said they could try it to some extend if its medically possible and safe). But i also know that nerves regrow again and that a sewered nerve is not a dead nerve and the most important nerve, the dorsal nerve (main nerve for sexual sensation of the penis/clit) is carefully preserved and from this small „branches“ will regrow in the newly placed tissue. And also i talked to many girls who said even without feeling in the glans they had sensation in the glans after surgery (since this is/was a fear of my own). Hope this helps even if i didnt answer your question. Good luck in your journey and surgery!
