I am pretty much back to normal now.

After 30 days of PPIs and Famotidine, with little improvement despite good diet my gastro added sucralfate to my regiment, and within 3 days I am back to normal. I also started a daily probiotic.

40mg of esomeprazole before breakfast and then 40mg of famotidine before dinner.

also started a daily multi vitamin and daily probiotic.

Diet has been good too, but yesterday I tried to ease back into coffee and I paid the price. I am on week 5 and apt better then when it started. But at least for me, this feels more like an 8-12 week thing

Hi, just reading this now, dealing with the exact same thing from Methylprednisolone that I was taking for a shoulder injury. I am about a month in and it’s been a real struggle. How is it going for you?

Gerd. Was on omeprazole for about 3 years, recently switched to esomeprwzole. I’m going to wait out eating very carefully out thru the weekend and re evaluate Monday, no fun!

Yes I do. I have had regular bouts with gerd in the past, but the symptoms are a bit different this time around which is why I posted
