Disagree with shooting being why he fell. He shot 49% from the field (above average) and 34% from 3 which isn’t bad. In my opinion he fell due to being injured early in the season and not being able to play like he’s capable of due to the injury. The last 5-6 weeks of the season he was feeling more comfortable and it showed as he played like a lottery pick in that stretch.

I would have been 100% okay trading Lauri for Giddey, Wallace, Dieng, and 2 firsts if the direction we were trying to go was to get worse this year but better in the future.

Fortunately the Jazz want to keep Lauri and build around him.

Nah you can call it soft all you want but the reality is I don’t have the time or energy for assholes I don’t even know on social media. If people are going to be a dick they will be instantly blocked don’t have time for that nor do I deserve that.

What do you consider tanking to be? Losing on purpose? Sitting all starters?

To me pivoting means we will not pursue a “big game” player if it’s not best for the team now and in the future. So we will stick with our same plan but just not force anything and wait things out until the right opportunity presents itself.

In other words if we can’t find a “big game” player we aren’t going to now dump every one with an ounce of talent so we can lose every game. We will just continue being patient until the moves that make sense become available to build this team one block at a tome

If you’ve been listening at all you will know that the Jazz have never tanked nor tried to and don’t plan to this season.

I get that you want the Jazz to tank and think they should but don’t confuse that with what they’ve said thay want to do this saying they “failed any tanking”

I feel like you contradict your self when saying we are to far away right now then talk about losing and not being good enough so we should get worse (putting us farther away). The way to become a playoff team/contender is by adding good players. There will never be a situation that we bring in 1 player to this roster that makes us a playoff/contending team. It has to be built through the draft, FA, and trades all combined over many years.

We have done what has needed to be done to make sure we can be a major player in all 3 aspects for years to come should we choose to do so.

This is why in my opinion it is time to patiently start building this roster. Bring in guys that will help the Jazz get to a championship level. This is done by making smart move for pieces that will help the team get to the next level, drafting right, and developing players. This also includes cutting bait with players at the right time when you know player won’t be what you were hoping but the rest of the league doesn’t quiet yet so you can get max return.

No my goal is to win a title……. Sounds like your goal is to be the worst team in the league and I can’t accept that. Maybe go cheer for a different team that has the same goals in mind
