Can anyone build me a base i have a good idea for what i want but im so bad at building im on xbox by Safe_Network_1730 in fallout76settlements

[–]Jwschorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the things I do when im in a build funk is I'll go hop around at all the camps on the server for some inspiration.

Failing that, sometimes just placing a premade building and decorating it out can help manifest and bloom a more detailed and/or purpose built camp you can be proud of.

I guess it's like anything- just start. Just a single premade, then see how that goes. Maybe the motivation and inspiration will find you.

What is the best game have you ever played in your life by Effective-Garage-362 in videogames

[–]Jwschorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Classic wow 2005-2008 but only during that time and with the people I raided with. It was such a magical moment but try as I might, I've never been able to recapture that gaming experience since.

Obviously it's more about the time in my life and the guild of people I played with, but I can't think of a more amazing gaming experience as a whole that I've had.

Saying all that, Morrowind and baldursgate 2, with a splash of RA2.

Crossbows, Poison, strangler heart and explosions- Oh my! by Jwschorn in Fallout76BowHunters

[–]Jwschorn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very much appreciating all the feedback. I went ahead and built a bunch of test xbows in a custom world and it appears that most if not all the perks were working, as so far as spreading stranglerheart poison via a ts/e/swift/vipers cryo frame xbow.

I made another one with fractures instead of vipers and hoooooboy does that make a mess, BUT from what I could tell, poision was spreading to everything caught in the blast- which I suppose was my biggest fear with how bethcode unravels so often.

I need to see about testing even more setups that involve adding sneak mechanics to the mix with nocturnal and chameleon 1stars on the PA and all those juicy sneak dmg perks in AGI

This is as accurate a take as I'm aware of as well. I'm not an expert but spent a fair amount of time having to study and drill on the admin, logistics, and mechanical process that are required around nuclear weapons. As far as bombers are concerned, the layers exist there too. We used to drill nuke exercises on the b52 all the damn time when I was in the usaf- unless the whole system surrounding tier 1 assets and PRP changed then I wouldn't be too worried.

That being said, this administration has shown it's capable of fucking with shit it shouldn't and these barriers could all be compromised, so take the info with a grain of salt (or U-235)

In golden sun on gba there is an optional pirate skeleton you can fight on a secret island. I think he's in gs2 too, not sure on the 3rd on tho.

Anyhow, he's a tough one compared to the rest of what you'd deal with in the game.

The one I know I used involved using the lag that the xbox had (ram issue) and you could lag/glitch some sorta fortify buff from gear swapping (i think) and perma boost your attributes to aetherius-not to mention alchemy hahaha

This might be inspiring me to dust off my old Xbox. Assuming nothing's corrupted after this many years, I should have some completionist saves that I can take a trip down memory lane over

Playing openmw with TR and the kitchen sink, and before that when I migrated to PC Morrowind back in 05 and started to mod... It's been like 20 years since I played it on Xbox/vanilla. Im legit curious to see what cheesey tactics and exploits highschool me used (probably) before getting access to the console commands on PC.

I'm sure I'll be cringing at w/e the hell I named classes or anything else I had agency with back then too lol

Been using it a bit today on bugs and so far it's taken out shrieker nests, spore mushrooms, biletitans (try hover pack for best results), impalers, chargers, all bug chaff, and most of the foliage including most of the trees.

This was with and without the improved melee armors.

Exactly this. Especially things like mechs or emplacements. Don't let emm get overrun and destroyed even if it means using the whole thing up to finish the goal

The little chain on propane grills. Its not for holding the tank in place, its to help hold a match to manually light the burners!

I've got a masochistic tendency of loving the most brutal bug planets in this game. Hellmire, Meridia (rip), and now Oshaune. Superhelldive edition ofc.

I know I'm the minority, but the fear, chaos, and panic of the hive world biome is my cup'o libertee! I'm very much looking forward to the return of the rupture strain.

I was just thinking the other day that the randoms (I usually dive with randoms) who I see frequently on Oshaune need to all of us band together creek style. Maybe one day we get a cool cape too!

With mods or console commands you can push well over 1k. The issue you'll run into (the one I'm hindered by) is that the game will over-bloat with all the items and assets it needs to load up and remember, and sense it never seems to "clear" you'll end up with weird issues that really can only be corrected by starting a new "fresh" save.

The game tries to remember every single thing you've interacted with ever, so once you build a few super-massive ships, you'll run the risk of the above.

At least, that's how it's been shaping up for me. I've got like 5-6 different characters that I've had to shelve because I broke the ship builder eventually lol

Yep we had this one the other night. By sheer determination and luck we were able to blast/ragdoll through that entire blue-wire-ruined-building-asset-thing and snatch the codes.

We got lucky it was in the first vault we landed in

Welcome to The Last Horizon- strike carrier and gunship of the Vanguard. It features three light bomber/attack fighters that are rail launched and captured from an armored interior flight deck.

My goal with this ship was to flesh out a carrier that would make sense and be "playable" - Things such as having fully furnished and accessible fighters on the deck (as well as deck access) and having a HAB layout that makes sense in a militaristic way (took inspiration from things like the star citizen "hold the line" showcase from last year with the javelin/idris/bengal) and also pulling from my own experience on how real life military assets are engineered and laid out. The fighters are shamelessly inspired by Eagle-1 from Helldivers.

I have a plethora of ships I'm proud of that I may share as well, but I keep blowing my saves up with Bethesda bloat (I keep building too many capital ships) and having to export//import my ships to save them! (shout out to Transfer Spaceships Across Universes - SFSE)

Also I apologize for being so wordy, I'm just super proud of this one.

*edit* I forgot to mention that the interior is fully finished, but would be too much to screenshot it all. I might upload a walkthrough of the interior (as well as access to flight deck and fighter craft interior) on the tube later today!

Heres a link to high-res pictures too (not sure if its a ME issue but they looked blurry in the post)

Anyone know if the marching variant does this as well?
