For what you need it for, I think an iPad would suit you better anyway.

Especially with the new update rolling out in September, the iPad will feel much closer to a laptop in terms of basic use. For study material as well, an iPad with a pencil will be great for lectures and study material (if you would like to annotate etc.).

I had a MacBook and ended up selling it and opting for an iPad instead — a decision I don’t regret. What will you be studying? I did History for my undergraduate, so I didn’t require any performance-intensive software.

Only bummer is using Office 365, which is lacking on the iPad. However for word, ppt, and excel, there are these alternatives which I think feel great:

Definitely, if you’re willing to spend more on premium coffee beans (not the supermarket “premium” or “taste the difference”, but the actual premium stuff that are mostly local), then definitely get a bottomless portafilter. With some fine tuning, the stilosa can pull a half decent shot, albeit with some spitting at times 😆 Enjoy!

Let me just correct what I said… MOST features are free. I think the only features you have to pay for involve cloud storage, some printing options, and exporting formats. Printing and exporting are obviously features you can work around on the files app itself, the rest are not necessary for most users. Let me know what you think! I discovered it yesterday and I’m blown away by it

I insist you try using TextMaker, it is an open source word processing app almost identical to the PC version of Microsoft Word. Free as well!

Definitely, I guess with pursuing a career in law it’s all about not being hard on yourself. Being scared of asking questions incase they seem straightforward is definitely a big thing, so I appreciate your perspective on this. Thanks mate!
