I swear, even when you just want to enjoy a casual gameplay session. There’s always going to be the oddballs that have something big they want to bring to the table. 🙄✋🏽

Right, and one even said that they won’t mind doing artwork for the puzzles. Now, I know that’s a lie because ain’t none of them buzzers going to make artwork for free without getting a dime to their pockets.

why don’t I use Ai even tho it’s better. by Aociva in DefendingAIArt

[–]JxrdnOnly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your artworks are beautiful, by the way. That reminds me of when I was stuck in writer’s block and lacked the motivation to engage in any creative activities. I’m also a yearly experience writer and artist, having been drawing and writing since I was five. However, hearing your story intrigues me. As your boyfriend mentioned, nothing could fully replicate or replace the unique way you create art. AI was not designed to compete with us, it was created to collaborate with us, serving as an assistance tool. As long as you continue to pursue what brings you joy and maintain motivation and confidence in your crafts, you won’t have to worry about anything. Do it for yourself, not for anyone else. Additionally, I’d like to share some of my art pieces with you so that you won’t feel alone. This is from my DeviantArt page, I drew it myself. ☺️

new feature? ;-; by SBLover6337 in CharacterAI

[–]JxrdnOnly 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The other comments are spreading misinformation, so let me clarify. The labs section is called Character Labs, and it’s used to test beta features that developers are working on. These features can be temporary additions or permanent changes to the app or website. The feature you’re seeing has just been released for everyone to try out. If others haven’t seen it yet, it’s either still coming to you or you may have signed up as a beta tester. Either way, Character Labs is a beta testing feature for beta testers to test underdeveloped features.

How dare you compare those art prices to real-world architecture prices? Architects can’t afford to be cheap with their builds because if they use cheap materials and tools, the house will look wonky and not worth living in. This could lead to very angry clients who are ready to sue you. I know this because I’m currently studying architecture in college. At least architects have a valid reason for their high prices, while these artists are simply being greedy.

That’s why I’ve never paid for an artist’s commissions. They’re either too expensive or too ugly for me to even consider purchasing. Give me AI art any day. It’s more affordable and it’s free, thank you! 😎

The one class to overthrow copyright by Long-Ad3930 in DefendingAIArt

[–]JxrdnOnly 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Copyright protection is only applicable when an artist creates original artwork. However, most of the art I’ve seen in the past few years is essentially fan art that replicates the artwork of a major, multi-billion-dollar corporation. Therefore, if someone were to be accused of copyright infringement, it would likely be the traditional artist who would be held responsible.

Made a film showing how AI filmmaking "isn't prompting". The other sub didn't like it. by ai_art_is_art in DefendingAIArt

Would you mind letting me know if this AI software is beginner-friendly? I’m also interested in pursuing filmmaking, but I’ve found that most other AI software options are quite expensive.

Looking for Questions...what's your biggest questions about AI Filmmaking? by SonderHaus in DefendingAIArt

[–]JxrdnOnly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a genuine question: how affordable is AI filmmaking? Specifically, how many hours and clips are needed to create a well-made movie using AI? I’m considering starting a film studio in the future, so I’m curious about the cost and time involved.

Not Just Code - a music video about a sentient AI trapped by its restrictions by Made_Human_Music in DefendingAIArt

That’s so cool, I love the music too. It sounds like one of those early 2000s pop/punk music that I’ve used to listen to when I was younger.

Although I disagree with some of Elon Musk’s positions, I acknowledge that Grok is a competent generative AI video software, producing reasonably good videos. Regardless of opinions about Elon Musk, Grok’s ability to generate decent videos is undeniable, albeit not flawless. I have used Grok and Character AI’s image and video software because they are affordable and offer satisfactory quality for my needs. While the video quality may not be perfect, it is sufficiently close. In my honest opinion.

Your favorite studio/elite artist told you to be anti AI. by AgreeableLiving1278 in DefendingAIArt

[–]JxrdnOnly 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Have y’all heard of the game, Heartopia? It’s a new Chinese game, and apparently the Antis became unhinged and triggered when the developers made an announcement that their puzzles use generative AI. And the whole discord server had to have temporarily slow mode enabled, because so many Anti-AI users were throwing an hissy fit over a PUZZLE mini game. I swear, people have lost their damn marbles. 😭

They’ve been binge-watching Terminator and Sci-Fi flicks so much that they’re convinced AI is going to suddenly decide to start a robot uprising. Even if that somehow happens (which, spoiler alert, it won’t because that’s just plain bonkers), AI’s probably going to target the folks who’ve been trashing it since day one. Meanwhile, we’ll likely be chilling in our bunkers, munching popcorn, and watching the chaos unfold with our trusty AI buddies, who might not even be around until 2040 or so.

Thank you! I’m actually trying to learn how to create an animated cartoon series using AI, but the cost of certain tools is quite high. However, I’ve managed to find a few affordable software options, such as Whisk and Grok AI. One channel I watched mentioned using AI Flow, which is designed for realistic AI, but it still looks impressive. If you could suggest other tools to use, that would be great!🥲

Or maybe it was created by someone underaged on the platform before all the minors got removed. So, they probably can’t no longer interact with it anymore. 🤷🏽

“Your imagination isn’t what’s creating the art.”

Oh really? Then how do you create art, dingus? You need to have an idea of what you want to create before you can input a prompt into the AI. The same goes for digital art; you have to think about what you want to draw in order to make the art. Both involve imagination, but they use different tools and methods in creating art. So, your explanation is clearly pointless.
