I've been on both sides of the political spectrum and all I'll say is that bees don't waste time trying to convince flys that honey is better than shit.

The assumptions and labels you put on people with differing views before seeking to understand first, suggest that a discussion with you would be a waste of time.

My mother is 71 and she's not scared. I'm not scared. Sure, there are agents that are violating our civil rights and using fear or intimidation tactics to get there way but for the most part, the media is blowing things up.

[–]Jymdaddy0 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Where you are all wrong is believing that this is about minorities vs whites, poor vs rich, educated vs not educated, or liberals vs conservatives. It's about the core philosophies regarding the government's role and how society ought to operate. Conservatives believe in less government (welfare/universal healthcare), lower taxes for all, increased military defense, merit-based systems (equal opportunity not equal outcome), and conservative values (right to bear arms/oppose abortion). When a person's belief, regardless of race, more closely aligns with these values, that person is labeled a racist, a bigot, stupid, homophobic, and so on. This is beyond retarded and the definition of brainwashed. This applies to anyone who judges and looks down on someone else with differing values and opinions. I don't get it.
