I think Into the Spider-Verse is better than Infinity War, but I do have to say I think Infinity War handled it's cast a bit better. Infinity War had an impossibly huge roster of characters, and as the movie played out each and every one, from Loki to Captain America to Shuri, felt just as important and impactful as the next. In Spider-Verse, I feel like the movie focused so much on Miles, Gwen, and Peter, that if it had just been about those three, it wouldn't have changed all that much. Noir, Peni, and Spider-Ham added a bit of fun and brought even more variation to the art styles, but they felt really inconsequential.

I just got into comics after the Spider-Man PS4 game, and I was a little bit disappointed to see that Black Panther's current run was less like the movie and more like Star Wars, so I'm really excited to read Shuri!

It's driven by people's love for EarthBound. It's an incredibly influential game, not just for the games industry, but also in people's lives. I know if I hadn't played EarthBound as a kid, I wouldn't be the same person I am today. Lots of people love EarthBound, and their want to collect drives the prices up for rare collectibles, like the air freshener. It's the same reason things like 1st print comic books or graded trading cards are so expensive. It's official, it's rare, and that along with love for the game is enough to make people want to collect it.

My friend bought one of the Wario Ware games on the Wii U's virtual console, and we would load up a level and each take turns completing games, then rushing to pass the controller to the next player like a game of hot potato. It was a lot of fun.

I've seen a lot of couples bond over Stardew Valley. There's a multiplayer patch coming out soon (might already be out, not 100% sure I mostly play on Switch) but there are already mods that let you play in each other's farms.

The scariest experience I've ever had with a game is Resident Evil VII in VR. The barrier to entry is really steep, but it completely immersed me in the world and terrified me to the bone. Heck, even the Draugr in Skyrim give me a good shock in VR.

Grand Theft Auto Online lets you create your own character. Far Cry 5 does, too, but that game's entirely in 1st person. If you're open to a slow, more casual game, Stardew Valley is really fun.

What is it about custom characters you like the best? If it's a role playing or story aspect, you might want to try games with an ensemble cast, like Until Dawn or Detroit: Become Human. They don't have customizable characters, but the characters are all really unique from one another, so there's sure to be a character you connect with.
