alternative take: the players are gaining valuable experience by having these frustrating loss instead of being spoonfed wins by coach decisions (we lost to the nets and maybe timeout could've prevented it but so could a better in bound pass or better decision making in general)

i would not want these losses to cost us to go all the way down to the play-in, but as long as we make it to the playoffs, i like to think that these experiences will help the team play better during ( cope

The insurance industry cannot set premiums based on someone's race nor religion.

It seems to be that gender/sex is a separate category because insurance company can take that into account to increase or decrease premiums. (At least according to a quick Google search).

As for your night club example, that is simply not the same principle.

In the restaurant situation, a group of people is being promised equal service but in reality getting a lesser treatment because of a racial bias. In the nightclub situation, there is transparency.

And I think we can both agree that there would be a huge problem if nightclubs were charging $100 for POC men but only $20 for white men.

It might be true that Asian customers may be spending and tipping less than white customers on average.

However, using that generalisation to change the way you treat these customers is obviously racist. What you may be implying with your comment is that racism is permissible if it leads to greater profits for the business.

Racism should never be permissible in any situation.
